You're welcome. You can never tell with these types of pools. Sometimes a huge upset will happen early in the season, wipe out more than half the pool, and it's over by week 5 or 6. Sometimes it can go through the whole season. One year when Admiral Ackbar ran it, I was one of three people who survived to the end of the season. (I choked in the wildcard round of the playoffs, and I believe one of the contestants in this year's pool ended up winning it all a week later)Go us. How long does it usually take to get a winner? Very cool contest, thank you again.
So how does it work? Each week in the NFL season (which begins Thursday, September 7th, and Sunday, September 10th), you pick a team that you think will win that week. (Each week's matchups will appear at the bottom of this post) If they win, you survive into the next week, and come back to pick another team for that week. If they lose or tie, you're knocked out of the pool. If you forget to make a pick in a week and don't have a bye left (I'll get to that in a moment), you're out. Once you've picked a team, you cannot choose them again. The last person still in the pool wins the prize. (See Post #2 below for rules specific to entering and making picks)
I'll take Denver this week.Patriots for week 3 please.
Also, are you allowed to pick the same team more than once? I don't see that mentioned anywhere
