yeah but that has no bearing on anything. They still suck and they are still probably going to lose on Sunday.
 
Seems like a smaller pool this year, and one heck of a prize pool that I just noticed. Sad, that when the Lions upset Seattle in week 1, half of you bozos will be gone.

I still stand by the PATRIOTS as my actual pick though. They can't lose in Foxboro to Buffalo, can they?

That's cool. I guess we play differently - I just look at the 3 or 4 most dominating matchups of the week and pick one. All I'm trying to do is stay alive another week and worry about it later.

It's a game of strategy, you should be happy people are taking risks a sure thing may be better that what they want, but it is a risk people obviously are will to take. Last year I took my team the Falcons that had no chance in hell and won the first game, and it knocked out 3 or 4 people.

yeah but in suicide pools usually 1/2 the field is gone by week 3 for picking with their gut. The only object of the game is to make it to the next week - there's no point in "saving" teams like the Colts or Panthers for later weeks if you can pick them now and have a high percentage chance of making it to the next set of games. Sure there will be upsets that aren't predictible but for the most part when a team is favored by 8 points I'd be willing to bet that they win the game (not necessarily cover the spread) more than 75% of the time...

I got knocked out... and HARD at that. Thanks Bucs Offense (and D too really) for sucking so much, there's nothing like getting elminated in week One.
 
I still cant believe my Lions lost. They played well on defense and outplayed seattle.
