NFS Hot Pursuit or Most Wanted?

I've had an itch to play a new racing game lately - last one I played was Burnout Paradise. Keeping in the vein of Criterion, I'm stuck between their two NFS outlets: Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted.

Loved Hot Pursuit 2 when I played it on my GameCube way back when and the same can be said about Most Wanted from 2006. It's just a matter of choosing between open world or structured race, but I'm looking for input from fellow CAGs.

most wanted, but if you like the NFS games, you probably cant go wrong either way. if you liked burnout paradise you will really like most wanted

If you have lots of friends to play MW with, it is well worth it. If not, just go with Hot Pursuit. It also depends if you'd like a more updated roster of cars as well.

you can probably find HP cheaper and its a good game.  I have most wanted and never really got into it the same way I got into HP.

Do you want one where you pick what race you want to do from a menu and it's mostly high way driving, or do you want a free roam style where you have to drive to every race, which usually takes place in a crowded city.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I think I'm going to go with Hot Pursuit, seeing as my friends list isn't huge into racing and I can get the open world feel with Burnout Paradise if I'm feeling like cruising.
