NHL06 vs. NHL 2k6

I picked up NHL06 for $19 yesterday at Fry's, and while I like the game, I feel as if I am missing something. Which is the better game this year?

I have one specific question for 2k6 owners: Did the eliminate the slowdown that would occur after a faceoff?

hey thats 3 cags. i play blades of steel on the nes just for the fights. thats the only hockey game i play.
