I went to Game Crazy today just for the heck of it. I started looking around and saw they had some nice deals. However, the only thing I really wanted to pick up was a memory card for the n64. The I asked the guy about their MVP club was about. 10% off used stuff and 10% bonus on trade ins and a year of EGM. I'm think its a nice deal, but I don't really need to be buying more games... So we talk a bit more and I'm going to check out when he says if I join then I can have one of their instore displays! I started jumping up and down and hyperventlating. It was beast to fit into my lil car... but look who came home for dinner!

Pretty nice, my mom used to work for toys R Us a few years ago
she got me some wrestling ones and almost had the star wars episode I displays.........damn that star wras nerd

The GC here, they usually let me take a stand. They gave away the Halo 2 stand that Microsoft told them to keep (*gasp*).. they have that MGS3 one there, but i'm ready to go rip the name off the back of it and take it, they almost literally do not care. I claimed the oversized 'Street Fighter Anniversary Collection' display box they have, so that's cool. That reminds me.. I should go down there tonight or something.

That MGS3 stand IS really awesome, though. I wish I had one. They had a KOTOR2 stand that I was going to claim, but it was broken (some piece was ripped off when they got it).. sucks for me.

Did they make any POP:WW stands? I don't think I ever saw one, but could you imagine how badass it'd be?

Kingofgames, you can't condense it using imageshack, but you can copy the code for the thumbnail and paste it here. That way people can still see the pic and click on it to enlarge it if they choose to.
 
normally I'm not really into those stands, but an MGS one is awesome!

KingofGames, you've got quite some collection. These things would be cool for me if I had somewhere to put them all. Anyway, I'm jealous of the OP. Good find.

I had that Wind Waker stand in my closet for almost two years and was finally able to put if up on display recently. I've been lucky enough to get them from work (Gamestop), but we often give such things away to non-employees.
 
Back in high school a friend of mine worked at Software Etc. for a while and snagged me a PS1 Final Fantasy VII standee - you know, the one of Cloud with the sword over his shoulder. I'll try to get a picture of it and post here.

I'm not selling, but anyone know if it might be worth anything?

nothing is as fun as trying to cram something too big into a little car. I still remember the day i tried to get one of those stupid plastic pools home. I though Hell i put it in my trunk.... Half way down the road Trunk flys open and Pool goes flying down the highway. (lucky it didnt cause a wreck ) :)
 
If you're interested in purchasing one, I know someone who has one just like it for sale. I think he wants about $25 shipped though.
