Is it the good ol' 'cash' coupon that you can just bring in, or do I have to redeem it online?

It's cash. Like others have already said, it only covers $7.50. As a theater manager with experience at different chains, I advise you to make sure the theater you plan on going to is listed under the locations that is attached to the check. I believe AMC still does not take these.

Thanks for the help guys. Almost bought it before catching the midnight showing of the remake, but didn't have time to. The new Elm Street is really bad, by the way.
No, it's not that bad... there are worse remake than this. It's one of the BEST in the series.
Bingo. But people can't past certain things and have a boner for how absolutely cheesy and horrible some of the sequels were.
Rorschach as Freddy is what sells it for me, are you kidding?
I was pissed at first because there is no reason for Robery Englund not to play Freddy but I felt a bit better when I found out Rorschach is playing him. Haven't seen it yet but don't expect much. Hopefully I get suprised.

If you don't have a boner for "cheesy" and "horrible," you're not a fan of horror.

I read someplace that Englund said that he didn't want to do it because he is getting to old. If this was 10 years ago or so I bet he would have been all over it. As for Rorschach he is the best for it I think after Englund. Also I have yet to see this movie but it can't be worse then the second one. I saw that once when I got the box set and now when I watch them all I don't even bother with it.

I don't think he said he didn't want to do it, he just said he felt he wouldn't have been up to it. This is not to be confused with him actually turning down the role, which I don't believe was ever offered to him. He didn't seem to know anything about it. Which makes sense, as anti-anyone-else-as-Freddy as I may be, I wouldn't understand wanting to remake a movie with the same star.

Then again, I don't understand remaking movies in general other than as a quick cash in on the work of someone much more talented, but that's just me.

Oh I totally agree, but to say this movie was horrible when compared to the others is just absurd.
