Ninja Gaiden delayed...

Still a week sucks.......this game was supposed to be out over 4 months ago. Now they just keep shoving it back each week. Tecmo is starting to make me hate them....alot.

Patience, padawans. It's not like they're making the game WORSE by taking a little longer. Supposedly Ninja Gaiden's going through Microsoft certification now.

Its relese date still isn't confirmed yet. I wouldn't be suprised if it gets pushed back again. Seems like a never ending cycle for this game

Yeah, you're right. Instead of waiting a few weeks and getting the last few bugs, they should release the game right now, quality be damned.

Having just played the Ninja Gaiden demo from the latest issue of OXM to death (it arrived Friday), I can safely say that I'll wait most any length of time for this. It's THAT good. An instant classic. IMO, of course. :)

Actuallly by taking longer it could just make it worse. An example is Tomb Raider TAOD which would of been an okay game if it was released when it was supposed to but then it got reworked and new controls implemented which brought its downfall

....thats one of the worst comparisons ever. Tomb raider games overall pretty much suck, they just did an extensively botched job on that one. Ninja gaiden has had the additions of online features, 3 classic games and graphical tweaking. Yeah, thats a bad thing...

They say its been delayed a week more, but we won't know until it releases for sure. I'm pretty sure that there will be more delays probably.
Ninja Gaiden, Halo II. Are these ever coming out?
I agree, espiecially Halo 2, that's been pushed back a couple of times now (i think) but it's nothing compared to that Tomb Raider Game about 6 months ago... I wasn't waiting for it, but supposedly it kept getting pushed back like 15 times, it ended up being almost half a year plus before it actually came out!
Well, I don't see what else they could add to Ninja Gaiden, the demo was incredible!
Fix the camera, fix the control, make it fun...

after playing the demo, i'd say that this game doesnt have any serious problems in which it needs to be delayed. But yet again, its not gonna get any worse.

What? There is already a center camera button and I didn't experience any problems with the camera anyway. And then how can you not call that game fun, unless you think boring is fun and fun is boring.

Last time I posted and said I didn't have any camera issues, I had only played it once. Now that I played it again, I have found a FEW minor camera issues. But, no serious ones, I don't see how you think the camera is that bad. Well, I'll admit it is a LITTLE bad if at all, but still, the rest of the game is brilliant.

The camera got a bit annoying for me i have to admit. Still, it's hard to find a 3D action game that has a flawless camera.

As for Best Buy, I'm glad i quit working there....I'd hate to be the guy dealing with all the people coming in on Thursday wanting Ninja Gaiden.

Will Ninja Gaiden have the full versions of NG 1,2 and 3 for NES as unlockables? I heard that a while back, but never heard if it was confirmed or not.

As far as I know, they are full and complete. What remains to be seen is whether you can save your progress, like you could in the SNES version. That would be awesome if you could, because these games take too long to finish in one sitting.

Bah! In my day, you finished games like Ninja Gaiden in one sitting, and you liked it!

Perhaps they're just finding ways to squeeze in (excuse the pun) more T&A since this is the same company and team that made DoA Volleyball if I'm not mistaken

Everyone who says "oh well thank god for the delay because they are making it better and we shouldn't rush them because they are fixing it" aren't seeing it quite right in my opinion.

They put an early release date on the game because then when a release date comes out, all the magazines and websites are like "OOOH release date for new game!!!" and then it gets near the date and they are like "AWWW MAN this is gonna be sooooo phat" and then "release date pushed back, but now its gonna be hella phat". ITS ALL ABOUT MARKETING. any publicity is good publicity. Why, as a consumer, do you let them walk all over you? They manipulate the timeline so as to get more advertising. They would stop doing that if people would not buy the game if they didn't stick to their release schedule...... but alas, you will buy it, they will love you for it, and have probably already finished the sequel.....

the camera is ok but in the demo the only part that pissed me off was in the beginning where u had 2 wall run to the other cliff. it pissed me off becuz i would always run up and fall back down instead of running sideways to get on the cliff. i think that was the hardest part of the demo

Maybe you shouldn't buy the game if you think THAT is the hardest part of the demo. I still can't beat that nun-chuck dude, the only way I ever seem to hit him is if he gets close, I double-jump of the wall, and do a slash down on him. Then I have to jump away real quick before he clobbers me. I have hit him a couple of times without doing anything special, but that only happens when he hits me and I get an opportunity to hit him, but he still gets more damage on me. There has to be another way to beat him, has anyone found different strategies?
