Nintendo DS- %10 off at Sears (saturday before noon)

I've noticed many places like TRU have notices up suspending their price matching policies during the next several days. This is a good example of why.

If there are any at your local Wal-Mart it would be worth a trip that way.

Wal-Mart is the only store that will price match this BF weekend.
can anyone actually confirm this is true?
I think it's true, but you'd have to actually find a DS at Sears.

Shopko will also match prices. Pity it's regional.

Does anybody know if Sears will give back the difference of a sale price if you bought something a couple of days before the actual sale?

I bought a DS from Sears a couple of days ago for 150, but now that I've seen this thread I'm considering of going back to try to get 10% off and possibly even return my DS for a new one (i'm one of the lucky ones with the dead pixel in the center)

My Sears had like 8 DS's when I picked up that Metroid Gamecube bundle earlier this week, because I remember laughing to myself thinking "Short supply (Yeah Right)"
Ya'll don't read much, do you? =)

10% with the use of your Sears Credit Card. =P
Dammit!

Ahhh....it is sat. I think I miss read it. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and buy again another DS and return these three.

uhm.... if they dont have any at your store, ask them to order one, we are getting shipments like almost every day now so it shouldnt be a problem for them to order one in.

I used my Sears card. Nada. Like I said, this is supposed to be Saturday. We'll see what happens when I bring my receipt in tomorrow to be price adjusted.

Actually, there's usually stipulations-

Doorbuster 1st day sales, like 6am-noon, usually are not honored anywhere.
However, I know that a couple years ago I took BB ad when they had Snow White for 10 bucks over to KMart, was in and out in 10 minutes.

As to BF all-weekend sales, its iffy, but the price-matching like at CC should still work. I got this confirmed when I tried an EB Doorbuster 2 years ago and they said they'd have honored it if it was a weekend sale.

Well, good luck.

Walmart will price match even for doorbusters or BF as long as you are in their store at the time of the actual sale. I spoke with a store manager and he advised if it is print, whether BF,doorbuster etc they would honour it as long as it can be confirmed it is not a store closing sale etc. I know other stores like U said would not honour BF or DB PMs, but for some reason the wal keeps doing it (at least it seems that way down here), I PMed 70 percent of my BF deals all at walmart as well. My suggestion is if U have a walmart nearby go their 1st for the PM, it's your best bet hands down IMO.

I picked up 2 DS for 242.98 + tax. I have the 30 off 250 purchase any home electronic item. The coupon doesn't work, the manager has to manually do the 30 discount. 121.49 for a DS is not bad at all.

that's because it is supposed to be 30 off any ONE item $250+, so far as i know. if you got them to do it for TWO items, that's great!!

I went back today and got a price adjustment from my purchase yesterday. So, in all, I saved $35. $15 today, $10 coupon yesterday, plus the $10 gift card b/c I was one of the first 200 people in the door at 6 in da morning. Not bad, not bad at all. Thanks OP.

Yeah, thanks OP. I got a DS, Metal Gear Solid 3, and Ratchet and Clank 3 for $195 with tax. I had a $15 coupon, $10 coupon, and $5 coupon (had to use the Sears Card), plus the Metal Gear Solid 3 game was on sale for $45. PLUS I got 10% off the whole purchase . Save about $55. Woohoo!
