In the Black Friday ad, it shows that the DS Lite comes with a free accessories kit valued at $19.99. When the cashier rings up the accessories thing, it subtracts $19.99 from the cost of the DS Lite and THEN rings up as its own item, meaning you can take back the accessories pack and get $19.99 for it.
Usually with these sort of things, the free item will ring up at $0.00. YMMV because not all Circuit City stores have them left.
