Wow, a DS system and 2x $35 games for $150. What will Nintendo think of next?? Also, any idea if this works at ebgames or whether ebgames credit can be used at gamestop yet?
Anybody know if that Mario Kart DS bundle still exists?
My local Costco has about 30 Mario Kart bundles.

Sheesh they have it NO WHERE in MN. And I've been wanting the damn red one -_-!

Anyways I thought this was the list of ALLL the stores that are having some kind of DS deal, but it's all good. I think the deal is pretty nice even if the new one is around the corner.

I'm thinking the same thing. But man this is a pretty good deal. I think my GS has the Mario Kart bundle too. Decisions. . . .

yeah, I've purposely held off on buying the DS because of the upcoming redesign. It has been rumored since the DS was released (especially since the DS is kind of ugly) and I've got a ton of backlog I'm working through. There's no way I'm caving now unless I could magically sell the DS for $100 and keep the two games...
i'd prefer jsut getting the DS alone and then returning or selling off the 2 games
You can't return the games becaue they are free. The best you can do is try to sell them.

a good deal, but i will either hold out for a better deal or a deal on the ds lite(like at frys or another store that does decent bundles
hm... where do you get the nintendog bundle? is it rare?
The nintendogs bundle is rare because of the best friends version going around 70's on ebay. The pink ones are more harder to find compare to the teal version since they are exclusive to only target and toyrus.

I hear ya. I can get a DS Lite from Lik-Sang for $185 shipped.

Or I can get the "old" DS, Animal Crossings & Metroid Prime for $170 shipped.

Seems like an easy choice, but I'm having a hard time deciding.

Not even if you're only looking for the system. More likely $90-$100 for system only. Sealed with game and you're in the $180 and up range.

Great deal, but I am still going to hold out for the Lite, unless Nintendo wants to give me 5 free games and drop the price of the DS to $99 I might think about it.....yea I wish.

I still don't see what the big deal is about the lite. I really don't see a problem with the brightness and I've had the system since launch. A few other friends also share my thoughts on this.

nice deal since the bundled game comes free it won't include the cartridge box and everything will it or it might have a not for resale label?

See I have no disdain for the current DS design, but granted I really liked the original GBA design, but as slick as it is I'm not sure I like the DS lite. Mainly I'm not hot for how thin it looks since the SP's flat and thin enough that it really gets uncomfortable for me before too long.

Think I'll jump on this though since I'm taking a trip out west and this will be extremely nice to have if I decide to go by 50 hour train ride.
Shiuldnt the bundle ne 129.99 normally?
No, the DS itself is $130 but all the bundles have been $150. Sadly I missed that this deal ended last week. :p

The deal is still available at Amazon with coupon code AMZTRUNDSGME

Despite what I said earlier in the thread... holding out for the lite.

Eh, that doesn't excite me as much as two games for $20, and their shipping doesn't help much either. Though I did not know about it so I stand corrected, well at least until March 11. :)

Guess I'm left to scrounging around on Ebay and hoping a good deal comes my way.
