Nintendo DSi 129.99 Target in stores, Possible price cut?

I think you should fix up the post a little bit. Put price in the title, or in the beginning of your sentence. I got confused for a little bit. lol

I've seen shelf tags stating that the white DSi has a temporary price cut to $129.99. I believe it ends on 4/30/2011.
 
I can second the White only DSi price cut to $129.99. Didn't state on the price tag if it was permanent or not, but it seems nationwide.

Next time don't worry about it, as far as I can remember Target doesn't have a policy prohibiting guests from taking pictures in-store. If anyone still wants a picture I'll take one on my break tomorrow.
 
i saw this today too, i thought about maybe getting one but i dont know..

I have a lite and a mario XL, plus a mario XL sealed. Is the DSI worth getting? The lite is kinda tiny for my hands, and the xl fits great in my hands, but the picture looks kinda crappy on some games (usually 3d ones) Im guessing the I i the happy medium.. is it worth picking one up at that price or should i wait for a real price drop? or just forget about it and stick with the lite and XL?

functionally its the same as the DSI isn't it? I do like the size of the XL for how it fits in my hand, but it really does make some games look kinda blocky and crappy. I was wondering if the DSI is better for that

The XL's screen is (obviously) larger and unfortunately it doesn't increase the resolution to compensate so--depending on the game--it could look a little worse. The DSI and the Lite are very close to the same size. I prefer the XL myself; I like the larger screen and I also like the size of the unit itself because the Lite made my hands cramp up after a while.

It would be if the games ran at a higher resolution than the DSi/lite, but they don't. That makes the games look crappy on the XL, blocky and pixellated (but not in a good way like some older arcade games). The XL is a waste IMO, doesn't improve on the games at all, in fact makes them look a lot worse.

I would wait for a real price drop..but IMO I have own all DS's but XL but have use the xl quite a bit (my brother's) i prefer the dsi just simple for size and feel.
 
iirc, the white model has been discontinued in stores, so that's why recently, it has been receiving several of these temp. price cuts, as they're slowly being cleared out.
 
On clearance at my local target in Lombard Illinois for 110. They had about 10 or so on the endcap. Didn't take a picture of this but they were there this morning

Also on clearance at one of my Targets. They had a bunch of them. Ninety something dollars if I remember correctly.
