I played the first after I played the second so my nostalgia is with that instead. I loved Samurai Showdown 2 and spent so much time on it in the arcade. Even though I don’t play fighting games much anymore, i still think the game is great and highly recommend it.

No, but they did add Luigi's Mansion 3 as a voucher game after the deal expired. Maybe Link's Awakening was added post-expiration, too. We won't know about the voucher status of Animal Crossing until they put that game up for pre-order on the eShop.

Played some of it and it's pretty decent for free. Every puzzle can be played with 6, 15, 28, 40, 56 and 60 pieces. Which 60 is a bit of a challenge since they only give you so many to place. This is probably not the best jigsaw game because you can't rotate pieces and the way it lays them out only lets you do so much before it gives you more pieces to place... but it has a nice kind of arcade quality about it.

You mean I can't just go straight for the edge/corner pieces like a chump? That might actually be pretty challenging for a 40+ piece puzzle.

I'm assuming it will be added. Looks like they're still adding new games (Tokyo Mirage was added and it's not out until next year) so I expect Animal Crossing will too. I'm not in a rush to get any other games so I have no problem hanging onto it for now. I don't think they added Luigi's Mansion until a month or less before the release so there's still plenty of time. If AC isn't included I'll just get something else.

 
Don't forget Game Vouchers have 1 year after purchase before they expire.  Don't sit on them too long.  At least set an alarm on your calendar to remind you to use them before they go poof!

Yes. What Nintendo takes into account is that you "purchase" the game, not if you have it downloaded/installed or in the cloud.

Worst case is pick games you are curious about right before the tickets expire and don't make the mistake again if it's an option. I'm guessing you have Dragon Quest XI and other heavy hitters like Xenoblade Chronicles 2?

The free game today, One Strike, is pretty fun as a very simplified fighting game (think of it as a rock paper scissors fighting game). More so fun if you have someone else to play with, as the CPU can be savage.

I re-read your post. To clarify, you don't need to own Puzzle Book to continue getting free games. You only need to own one of this publisher's games to get the free game of the day. Don't buy Puzzle Book if you have no interest in it. You'd get no further benefit from owning it, since you said you already own Mana Spark.

Guys, as an FYI, all games made by Plug In Digital are having a sale. Just do a search in the eShop for Plug In Digital and they will all show up.

Only two games I have from them are "Bury me, my Love" and "Old School Musical", and both are AWESOME; cannot vouch for the rest as I don't know.

EDIT: If you already have one game from them, "Bury me, my Love" will show up as FREE.

So I was bored this morning..

Was reading the QubicGames page I have open in a tab for the anniversary promotion.... Decided to see if I could find any clue to what the mystery game would be at the end of this.

Scroll down to the FAQ and you see this question:
 
“What is the last game to be given away?”
“We’re keeping the last game a secret till the day it comes out. It’s one of our more premium games that came out this year so don’t worry, it’s something good.”
 
So I looked at all of the QubicGames listed on their website as released for the Switch, https://qubicgames.com remove the “Free” games in the Anniversary sale

Edit: Just realized they have 2 "Upcoming games" that are releasing Dec 25th and Dec 26th.... Possible it's one of those?

Have you tried using something like the Privacy app? I use credit cards generated from it for a lot if things, including Nintendo/eShop. Here’s a link if you’re interested https://privacy.com/join/XPMN2 (yes that’s a referral link. Yes I’m the scum of the earth.) I’ve used it also for a steaming services, Dr on Demand, Lowe’s.com, Staples.com, etc.
