Any opinions on Dillion's Dead-Heat Breakers.  I liked the demo but I'm not sure about other parts of the game like tower defense which wasnt in the demo.  Price seems like a lot, is there enough content to justify $20.  Never played the other Dillion games by the way.

In my opinion the bundle was worth it. I prefer to play with the Pokeball Plus over a standard joycon as I feel it's a bit more accurate when it comes to picking up the variations in flinging motions, though that could just be me. Plus you get to play Pokemon with a Pokeball, what fan wouldn't want to experience that? The only caveat is that if you have larger hands it can be quite awkward to find a comfortable position to hold the controller at first, but with time you will find one that works for you.

Battery life is pretty much spot on with that of a typical joycon (they state it is ~20hrs). I was actually pretty impressed with the build quality of the unit, definitely something you could toss in your bag and not worry too much about. Its designed to also integrate with Pokemon Go so I assume they intended for it to withstand some abuse.

I would say get it if you play Pokémon Go but if I didn’t I probably wouldn’t use it much. I prefer playing Let’s Go in handheld.

I bought the $100 edition and haven’t used the Pokeball. Handheld works best for me, as well as two Joycons in the grip. Mew is fun to have though, so if that matters, get the ball. I’ll most likely trade the ball in or sell it locally.

I was also thinking about grabbing Lost Spear and/or I am Setsuna, but I was able to find Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for ~$33 last week, so decided to forgo those games. Between Shovel Knight, XC2 and Smash Bros coming out next week, I figured that I probably won't be playing any other games I would purchase for a long time.

Good plan. I spent most the the first half of 2018 playing ONLY Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I still have yet to jump into the DLC. Such a great game.

I own new and used. I find GameStop to be good at 3ds and 2ds refurbs. I see prices for new drop to $130 occasionally, but that's about as good as it gets from major retailers. Keep an eye on Fry's, Walmart, Amazon, and Target for those prices. Rarely, if ever, see BB or GS at $130.

In terms of designs I like the Hylian Shield model from GameStop the best, the Pikachu model second best, and then the generic turquoise or orange. The Pokeball one is not my style. I haven't found a case that fits the Hylian/Pikachu/Pokeball ones yet as they have raised faces.

I believe Gamestop will be having a Prestige Day soon (rumor says 12/10) You can buy 2 and get 1 free, if you have a Prestige store near you. Buy three different systems for you, or buy three of the same and flip 2.

The SNES 3DS XL has been the same price as the 2DS XL for awhile now on Amazon. If you watch reviews on the 2DS XL you will hear A LOT of comments on how it just feels flimsier and like the build quality isn't there. So if you can't get a deal, I would suggest getting the 3DS XL for the same price. I've been in the market to upgrade my OG ambassador 3DS and this has been what I've seen the most.

Well, it really comes down to what someone considers flimsy and why? I'm a portable gamer mostly, and I personally don't like the N3DS XL because of the weight. Depending on your hand size, and the games to be played, it may be an issue. While I don't have the N2DS XL, I have used one several times, and I find it to be the best 2DS/3DS "N" has released so far in regards to being comfortable.

It is very light weight, which is why I'm sure most complain of the quality, as it doesn't feel as solid as the regular XL units. A lot of consumers equate weight, to some form of quality, which the heavier something is, the more likely it can break, especially those fragile hinges. My only issue with it is the lack of 3D, but that's only because I like it so much, and would like to get one, I just don't want to give up my 3D. I do plan to get one for back up, as the older I get, the more a bigger screen would be welcome(my eyes ain't what they used to be). LOL

Most GS have the N2DS XL on display in store, so I would recommend giving it a go in person, as I found the quality just fine. But as stated, you can get the N3DS XL on Amazon for the same price, so if your not really concerned either way in regards to the issues mentioned, then get the best unit you can for said price. Like most "N" handheld/consoles, the last versions are normally the best ones, as they take lessons over the years, and it shows in the final make. For me, the N2DS XL is the finest offering so far, and a cool note to go out on(I just wish it had 3D).

If you're ok with just getting Bayonetta 2, it may get cheaper in the future. I waited for years for the Wii U Bayonetta 2 to get cheaper and it just didn't happen. In fact it went out of print and when they reprinted it the new versions no longer came the original Bayonetta. I suspect the same will happen here.

I only ended up picking up Caveman Warriors and Blaster Master Zero on the eshop sale.  I was thinking about Lego City but decided to just get a physical version as Best Buy has it on sale off and on for 20 and with GCU and reward certificate would drop it to $6 ish.  That's what I did for the WiiU version.

Note that the display model 2ds xl may have an IPS screen but you're not getting a 2ds xl with IPS screens unless you mod it yourself.
