So I've had one of the tracks from the original Pokemon Pinball stuck in my head on and off the past couple of days, and it made me question why the frig that's still not on Virtual Console. I'd love to have that on my 3DS.

Just beat Hollow Knight. I think it’s my absolute favorite game on the Switch thus far. Not very CAG of me but it’s worth the full price when you consider that you are getting a triple A quality title for just $15 plus tax. Definitely check this game out even if you are not into Metroidvania games. Absolutely great title.

I am at about 80% completion and I have access to fight the final battle (I think). I also love the game and it is also probably my fave game on the Switch, however this last 20% is kinda grueling. If it was easier to travel around to hard to reach places, I think I would be more willing to get that last 20%.

I was having the same issue then I found out about the quick slash charm and it made everything so much easier. I just finished it Monday at 87% and the worst ending but I will go back and do a little bit more at the very least. I'll probably jump back in later in September (Monster Hunter next week).

Yeah, not all new releases qualify. I forget all the rules beyond collectors editions don't qualify, certain re-releases don't qualify, and then there are a few other things that might cause a game not to get the discount. There are still a lot of games that have the discount ... but the rule of thumb here is that new listings never seem to have the prime discount and it takes a while (often weeks) before it shows up.

I might have mentioned this a few months ago, but now that LA Noire is on sale. It's such a great deal at that price!
I got it when it first came out. Kinda tempted to convert it to digital, but the case and cartridge are pretty cool.

I just converted mine to digital tonight. Got $26 for it trading towards a pre order of spiderman at GameStop. The download is massive but even with the cart it was a large download so whatever.

3 forms of traveling, the basic Stag...can also find the item to use trains/trams, and then the dream nail upgrade to create a dreamgate anywhere. Once you have all 3, travel isnt nearly as bad.

I've 106% or 107%'d it, whichever is the max now...thankfully the Path of Pain doesnt count for anything, Im not even gonna do that to myself. Can't wait for the last DLC, this game was worth the $15 and then some.

I think it's part of the stealth bump this weekend, but it's getting $21 with elite right now and $5 extra towards a pre order making it $26

Well... that's life. I needed the push not to renew prime this December... I'll make sure I'm done Christmas shopping early and will cancel.

On a positive note, Grandia & Grandia 2 are getting HD Remasters for the Switch and releasing sometime this winter.

 
With all these games coming out for the Switch, I may have to erm...switch from 128gb to 256gb. Although I wish I can find a good deal for the latter.

Thanks for posting. Was curious how it was going to look handled. I'm so torn (though I know I'll end up getting it eventually). I haven't played in years, but once I heard about this I got a little hyped. Went back to play on PS4 and now I'm addicted again. Has me wondering if I should just buy the Necro pack on PS4 and play again there, vs. spending $60 on the Switch version. Will I really play in handled? That's what I can't figure out.

 
I am SOOO on the fence about Puyo Puyo Tetris.
I LOVE Tetris and liked Puyo for the few minutes that I played it, but I always kinda thought that it was a bit overpriced. And even with the sale price.... still seems a little high.
 
I did not wait for Hollow Knight (bought on day one and have yet to play it), but luckily for me I did wait on Yoku’s Island Express, mainly because I missed out on the pre-order discount so I was salty and didn’t want to buy it full price. Same thing with Dead Cells, I missed the pre-order discount due to the eShop’s dumb expiration date discrepancies, so I’m waiting on the first post-launch sale.

Anyways, Yoku’s Island Express demo is really fun and I am a pinball fanatic, so I am very happy today.

Yoku's Island Express is so good and well worth $11.99! I am going to get Hollow Knight for this price too since the physical isn't out until next year.

Play the demo. I personally didn't find this mashup fun (thanks to the demo) and that got me off the fence.

It's fun. They actually did a pretty good job of matching the two so the advantage doesn't really seem skewed one way or the other. Multiplayer is fun. The story mode is lengthy with some cool challenges and decent AI, but the cutscenes get pretty tedious. The gameplay is pretty solid, though. Worth it if you can get it cheap. I think I got the PS4 version on clearance for around $15 at Target a while back and thought it was decent for that price.
