I haven’t played any of their pinball tables mainly because they look like absolute garbage. I do believe you are buying the 1 table shown. They aren’t based on any real tables, even though their descriptions always allude to that.
 
I'm going to go ahead an pre-order My Friend Pedro as that is a day one game for me.  I'm still toying with some of the other Devolver games but I'm probably going to hold off since there's going to be some major wallet hurting next week for E3 sales.

 
I usually don't buy digital games on release day but I just finished the watching the GB quick look of Slay the Spire and this is my type of game. I've been following it recently and had it on my radar but the quick look sold me.

Man is Slay the Spire good. It may be the best game I played this year. Although it needs to be patched. I got to the third boss and the game crashed. It seems like a lot of people on reddit are having the same issue. The developers have already submitted a patch. If you bought the game, I recommend saving often. It sucks for me cause I have to start from my last save which means a few hours of game play was lost.

 
I'm always conflicted about rebuying games I already played too much of. I have many hours of Slay the Spire on PC (it's great) but am still tempted to get it on the Switch for portable gaming. I've already played it a boat load. I did end up buying Monster Slayers which was great and gave me some good entertainment (still play now and then). Always a conundrum of buying games again especially after playing the original for many hours. Going to check out the Timespinner video Frisky posted. Heard good things about it.

Thanks for the information. I've been playing today during my lunch break at work and I just got to tower three and saved and quit after a tough fight. It is a really great game. Slay the Spire and Void Bastards are my favorite releases so far this year. I'm hooked on both.

Ah thanks for talking about Monster Slayers. I never even heard of it and after doing a bit of research, I may buy it. How do you like it in comparison to StS?

For me StS is great on the Switch due to its portability. I feel like some games suffer being on the Switch and I am not talking about performance. Like for example Darkest Dungeon where the text is so small that I can't read it. The text in StS is small too but I don't find it hard to read. Yeah I know you can zoom in now on the Switch but still it is a bother for me.

Monster Slayers is a bit more simple of sorts. You try to chain a bunch of attacks and actions together and you get companions who have abilities that recharge after a certain amount of battles. You get some modifiers (in the form of extra cards, actions, etc) from equipment you find or get and there is some grinding from having to lose to unlock latent abilities from your class and generic abilities and companion abilities. I enjoy it quite a bit and it's very addictive. Every class plays a bit different and has their strong and weak points. It's a good game though the art style and sound and music are not the best. They are standard but are OK. I like the game quite a bit but I know it's more of like a 7.5/10 type game because it lacks polish and some parts of the Switch port are not well done, such as it's torture to equip since it feels so clunky. I'd recommend it as a great alternative to Slay the Spire. Both games are really good with Slay the Spire being the better game, but that doesn't mean Monster Slayers isn't good too.

If you're interested in a new card-battling game, I'd highly recommend SteamWorld Quest, which has a great battle system that is really well done. I did a stream on that game at launch if you want to see it in action.

 
Oh I played Steamworld Quest. I'm on the last mission and it's a great game mainly cause of the battle system. The story is so-so, as well as the characters, but the card battle system is innovative and fun. I need to finish it haha. I'm kind of been delaying that.

Yeah, if you have Amazon Prime, you can get Twitch Prime and use the promotion they currently have going to get 3 months for free to grab the vouchers. If you haven't used the week trial, you might also be able to take advantage of that through the trial. Otherwise, you'd be spending $20 to save $20 on $120 worth of games.

If you sprung for the whole year there'd be no savings, but a month or 3 (I'm not sure what the shortest is) would still knock the price down a little

I’m on Qubic’s mailing list (for the free robonaut game) and they sent an email about the game stating if you own any of their premium games you get a 50% discount on Warlock. I only own robonauts and Akane, but it’s showing up as $8.99 for me instead of $17.99.
It looks interesting, but my backlog is out of control.

Moved in to a new place and could now really use a second Switch dock. I would have hoped by now they would have gotten notably cheaper but that unfortunately does not appear to be the case.

What's my best bet at getting one? I checked ebay and Gamestop and getting a used one with a power adapter will cost me around $55-$70... Which I still consider too high hahah

Best Buy sells a $40 Insignia dock for Switch that’s highly reviewed. I have one as a second dock and it works well. You may find an open box one for $32.99 on their website.

Wow can anyone confirm that something like this works or doesn't? That would be awesome to have when I bring my switch to friends houses and stuff. I brought my switch 2 weeks ago and forgot the dock so we couldn't really do much as we wanted to play on a tv.
