Yes, if you find it in-store it will have the $9.99 price. $8.99 used. But if someone has a copy on hold it might still show it as in-stock on the website.

I just posted this in another thread, but yes I'd say it's well worth the $6.53 I paid or even double that.

Outside of the initial horrendous load time on switch, it is pretty good. Levels are a mix between the recent rayman games and DKC. What surprised me is that there is also lot to do exploring the top-down overworld map.. (feels old-school zelda like). Better than the first game. Though I wish they pulled off 3d platforming with the same amount of polish instead of just leaving it behind.

Also, both telltale batman titles are under $4 on eshop right now. That one stings a bit as I recently dropped double that on enemy within and haven't touched it.

If you happen to have an iPad, it costs less than half has much, runs better, is easier to control, and the DLC comes out sooner on that platform.

Horizon Chase Turbo started sometime last week as I bought it on sale Friday. I started playing it and the races are fun and addicting, glad I picked it up. I will probably grab the $2 dlc later.

Anyone played these Batman games on Switch? I remember The Wolf Among Us on PS3 being pretty buggy so wonder how these fare on Switch. Definitely thinking about getting them at that price.

What's bad about it?

I'm sure Civ fans can better articulate it than me, but Civ6 base is problematic in many ways, such as an unrealistic warmongering penalty anytime you try to do anything related to military, "justified" or not. The two expansions fix that by having a more nuanced understanding of retaliation, provocation, etc.

If you happen to have an iPad, it costs less than half has much, runs better, is easier to control, and the DLC comes out sooner on that platform.

I hate playing on a touch screen, so I'd much rather have it on the Switch.

Pretty sure it's still the same as when I bought it a couple of years ago. You download the app for free and get something like 50 turns. Everything is IAP. I got the full game on sale at one time shortly after release for $10. Looks like it's $5 right now. That's a steal. Rise and Fall is $15. Gathering Storm is $40 right now because it's new, but it will go down to half price quickly if it follows a similar pattern to other IAP in the game.

I walked into my store this morning and found it on the shelf for $9.99. Gamestop "new" of course.

Seeing so many people in this situation, it makes me wonder if Gamestop is just trying to clear this out of their inventory and a lot of us are getting their last (display) copies.

In which case, yeah open copies are annoying, but I'll take that for $10 over the game being much more difficult to find in the coming months. Was this expected to be a short physical run?

Sorry. The website doesn't list it as being on sale, so I just caught it yesterday. It can be hard catching random games like that amongst 200+ in the full list in the eShop itself.

I’m crossing my fingers they make a physical release that includes all the DLC. But most likely it will just be a digital bundle.

Never mind, I'm just get into the same boat. I'm not supposed to be buying physical Switch games any longer, so I'll just wait for a sale on a digital Civ6 bundle instead of splitting it with a physical cartridge and digital DLC.

I guess I could play other games in my 100+ Switch backlog, including my unopened copy of BotW I've had since launch.

I was able to snag a copy of Yooka Laylee on Sunday from my local Gamestop and it was still sealed to my surprise since it was their last copy.

Some of the Eshop sales look tempting though I really do not need anything right now. Batman I have on Steam so there's not much temptation there other than I will be more likely to finish it on the Switch.
