So the story that was missing from BotW will be DLC in Hyrule warriors. That's just comedy gold! Charging for what should have been in the original game. I'll bite though since that was my one big gripe about BotW (The lack of story) & I do like Hyrule Warriors. Bought the original plus both season passes on Wii U & Picked up the Definitive edition used a couple years back. 

Edit: Looks like this will be a stand alone title. Still a funny situation though.

Currently fighting with CAGs about it on FB I’ll probably end up buying it, but it would have been way more appealing to have the original game included imo. If it’s an honest to god prequel with high production values and a lengthy story, then I’ll eat my words. But Nintendo and Tecmo are known for milking their fans ... so $60 of value may not be included. Musou games are always a tough value proposition because they get so repetitive so fast. They’re fun in bursts, but we’ll see what they detail later this month I guess.

Yep! Tried it in an incognito window after I posted that and it worked. Must have been a cookie issue.

The phone sword is completely gone, but I got the stickers and the post cards, which seems like less of a good deal for $5.41, without the sword. They should have packaged the sword and the stickers together. Since they show them in a single picture together like they are. Also, depending on how many of these sticker sheets and post cards that Nintendo has, they're going to make a bunch of money off of this.

I was tempted to get it at this price too, but I've seen that the Switch version has long loading times after you die. It takes about 30-45 seconds to respawn (which is way too long imo). It seems like there was a patch earlier this year, but I don't think it fixed the load times.

Can anyone here chime in on this game and the loading issue?

There's a new study out from the last few days showed that C19 can shred heart cells. I know that's not comforting news, but I thought I'd share it. If she had or has c19 then this is likely part of the side effects of it.

My grandmother is a huge alcoholic, and has diabetes, it's most likely because of that. But, I feel you on the slow recovery from Covid. I still have very little energy. I can walk the dog once a day for about 20 minutes, and then I am dead to the world. Carcassonne is a fantastic real board game and a great digital board game. It’s not for everyone but it’s our family’s favorite game by far.

Jeopardy! is ok. But the fact it's multiple choice does make it easier than it should be.

Catan doesn't have local multiplayer, which is horrible for a board game like this.

Lord of the Rings game is not great. I played maybe 10 hours on PC, but the game was designed to focus on getting through each fight as quickly as possible, with pretty much no other strategy.

I think Pandemic has multiplayer issues.

Carcasonne has a weak recommendation from me. I like it with base + river, but anything past that gets too complex to be fun, imo.

I think it's just participating. I did play every stage that had a pixelated Mario and Donkey Kong Jr. on them, just to be safe.

If you did the other four missions and bought Super Mario 3D All-Stars, you don't need to do the Super Mario Kart Tour event.

I kind of like it, and I have paid $0 on it so far. It does get a little boring though. Like I said, I am experiencing zero challenge even in the higher speed modes. So, it gets boring after about 30 minutes.

They are closing the american version of the store with the credit basically from what I understand. Redeeming it wise yeah unless there is the option to have it sent in a paper check I think the only option is redeeming the credit for a purchase.

I'm personally not a fan of the Mario Kart mobile game either. But yeah, to each their own.

What I am excited about though is Undertale is on sale again after a year, 33% isn't much but I'll take it! I bought it a couple years ago on GOG for $5 but never had a chance to get into it, I'm hoping now that I have it on my Switch that'll change.

No real loss there. The Wii version is the definitive version of the game. It was released physically as a bundle with the Wii U version (at least in the US).

That's what I figured as there was absolutely no option to add money to PayPal or anywhere else. It was basically you had 14.97 off any purchase on Rakuten. I had no idea what to buy so I just ended up getting an HDMI 4K splitter. Paid a total of $6.
