I wish it had been released on the 3ds or the switch pad had touch screen controls for it since games like these are better with touch screen controls over button imputs imo. At least thats how I played theater rhythm and curtain call on the 3ds. Loved those to death.

I was hoping it would be a Switch game case. I still use the 3DS game cases they gave out years ago. Was disappointed to see them throw loose cartridges into this crap zipper case.

I guess I'll find out soon enough. I was too late to cancel my Mario so it arrives today, and of course now I can't find a Luigi anywhere. I saw them in stock this morning at Best buy but it was before I knew the Walmart Mario was still coming. Knowing best buy I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to check out anyway.

Looks like it was in stock for hours last this morning. It's on me for sleeping in.

I mean, it's obviously a novelty, no? I don't think anyone buying Mario Kart Live is under any illusions that it will provide "long-term appeal".

The main market is as a children's Christmas present to play with once on Christmas morning, and for middle-aged Nintendo fans with $200 to blow who buy both and keep them on the shelf as collector's items.

I had it ready on the last screen to check out and was greedy and tried to switch my payment method to PayPal (5% chase rewards this month) and when I came back from PayPal it was unavailable.

man... i saw that MKL was in stock, ordered it and then just cancelled.

i just couldn't see spending 100.00+ knowing that i don't have the time, nor space for this.

When you have kids, multiply that with the number of kids. I’m actually hoping they release princess peach and yoshi karts.

I read a few reviews. Seems like the camera choppiness is partially due to where the switch is located (ie if it’s too far away from the kart).

I’m pretty damn excited to race around my house

Anyone else receive shipping and tracking for the pin set, but no updates?

Usually I don't worry about when I get stuff, but my tracking shows an update from one week ago and it was only that pre-shipment information was sent and nothing else since.

Does each kid have their own Switch? Cuz multiple karts won't work on the same Switch for multiplayer.

Yeah it’s a bummer.

The complaint I don’t understand is people saying there’s no online play. How you gonna race your car in someone else’s house? Or set up the exact same configuration. People love complaining.

Is it normal for the V2 Switches to wobble while docked? I bought an AC Switch and it worries me how much it wobbles while docked (I barely touch it and the whole unit shakes). I know the V1 Switches fit really snug and there were issues with that scratching screens.

Don't know if it's normal but ours does too.

I considered putting some pieces of crafting foam sheets in there just to reduce play a bit, but I have a screen protector and decided I didn't care enough to do it.

Bought Labo kits at launch only to see them crash hard in price. Will not be making the same mistake here. I'll get both when it inevitably hits firesale prices.

It's ok ... for the sale price, I would say it's worth picking up if 1. you're a big Ghostbusters fan and 2.you've never played it on another console. It's missing the multiplayer mode and as a single player experience it's very mid-2000s style gameplay. You walk somewhere, you shoot some ghosts, repeat.

The story is basically what the third ghostbusters movie was supposed to be and almost all of the original voice actors return. With that said, it's not what I would call a "fun" game ... it's worth playing through once but honestly I found it a bit boring overall. For $30 I would say no, for under $10 then sure if you're looking for a decent Halloween game.

As for the port itself, it holds up pretty well. Plays better than the Wii version and isn't quite as visually impressive as the PC version.

It feels like they made 10x the number of Mario than luigi. Luigi sold out on amazon but Mario is still available. I mean do people love Mario that much? I’ve always preferred luigi colors.

I live in central PA and mine shipped almost two weeks ago, but has been sitting in Harrisburg postal hub for a week marked as received with no activity so far. Usually with other packages that arrive there, I get it delivered the next day. I have a feeling it got lost. Good luck with yours.

Is it normal for the V2 Switches to wobble while docked? I bought an AC Switch and it worries me how much it wobbles while docked (I barely touch it and the whole unit shakes). I know the V1 Switches fit really snug and there were issues with that scratching screens.

My ACNH Switch is also like that with a much looser fit in the dock than the v1 Switch I sold after getting the new one.

Not sure about that. At face value, sure you could say that Labo just comes with cardboard but that required some hardcore R&D and QA I'd imagine, given the mechanical genius of it all. Also, many Labo kits didnt launch at $100.
