Yeah, kinda like Sony and Microsoft, except their popular series get HD upgrades and not just ports like most Nintendo games.

In this one, you get points to increase your party level to unlock new characters and play modes. It's not as terrible as the last 10 years of Mario Party games, where you needed points to buy stuff in a shop. Island Tour had you grinding 30-45 minute maps for 2000 points, and Bowser cost 9800 for whatever reason.

Sadly, without 2 screens, any "DS" stuff isn't really possible(Well it is possible, but "N" would never do it), and the touch screen would be an issues as well.

I totally ing agree with you. I would have bought that small N3DS on launch day if it would have been region free. NoA where complete dicks about releasing here to. Our region is for sure the worst now of the 3 major markets, damn shame to, as we used to be second best, now where dead last.

Yeah we got them continuing to push the 2DS here while everyone else got neat stuff instead. Then when they do give other regions 2DS systems they're actually neat and we don't get them.

Yeah we got them continuing to push the 2DS here while everyone else got neat stuff instead. Then when they do give other regions 2DS systems they're actually neat and we don't get them.

Then you have that ass clown Reggie talking about how "white" systems don't sale well in the US, when some of their biggest selling system have been white(Wii, DS Lite). And while I don't have a desire to get the standard N3DS in Black, there are tons of fans who want that color, and still nothing. EU & Japan have killer online stores that offer almost everything under the sun.

They sale a lackluster amount of face plates on their US online store, but some of those would go better with the black model, and there is for sure an audience for it, but nothing. Knowing them the way I do, they'll probably finally release a black special edition N3DS right near the switches launch, and then when it doesn't sale well, they'll say "we told you so". NoA really is the worst.

My laptop starts getting laggy with the gamecube emulation so I don't play it on the pc because lag annoys me

Speaking of the Pro controller. I noticed they had one team in that trailer using Pro controllers. That's pretty cool. I wonder how many players can play one game session at the same time.

Nintendo has come out and said that they can produce more Switch consoles than the 2 million they expect to launch with if the system sells well. More importantly, they said the base standard of the game cards would be 16GB, which can be increased depending on the game. For comparison's sake, Bayonetta 2 was 14GB, Smash Wii U was 15.7GB, and Xenoblade Chronicles X was 22GB.

Personally, if you're trying to get an Exclusive your best bet is a return/rebuy situation. I have 45 days at Best Buy but that isn't for everyone.

I might have to grab that one, myself. I actually really liked the original, but I quit like a few levels before the end due to a horrible lack of checkpoints and a brutal boss (I got sick of playing a half hour level over and over again just to get mowed down by the boss repeatedly and have to start back at the beginning).

I guess they fixed that in the remaster with manual saves...and also got rid of respawning enemies so you don't waste all your limited ammo if you have to backtrack. So I might have to get it just to finally finish it (I finished the sequel). Overall, it was surprisingly solid and atmospheric for a horror fps on the original DS.

I hate the 4:3 resolution of VC games, and the fact they are run on an emulator with no new or enhanced features. Oh well, I'll give it a try. I'd like to be proven wrong, but I can't see My Nintendo having some sort of big comeback just because the NS comes out. Like, all My Nintendo needs to be successful is to have a successful console attached to it and then Nintendo will finally put out the good rewards. If anything, they should be more generous now, for the people who actually supported the Wii U and to make sure that they keep buying Wii U games until NS comes out.

All that they're managing to do now is just making the people who will absolutely have a My Nintendo account when NS releases lose interest in the whole program.
