Man, I wish we didn't have to wait until Holiday 2016 when Japan gets it in Winter 2016. Oh well, at least I'm not in Europe where you have to wait until Late 2016.
Technically, Holiday 2016 (September to November) is before Winter 2016 (December to February), though I don't know if Nintendo's fiscal quarters are different from the way they're typically used. Their Winter might be January to March (end of their FY) and Holiday could be October to December.

Investor Meeting crap:

- Nintendo NX confirmed to be released globally in March 2017.

- Zelda Wii U to be released then as well. NX version confirmed.

- Zelda Wii U will be the focus of E3 this year, but not the NX itself.

- Zelda Wii U will be the only playable title Nintendo brings to E3.

- Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem mobile apps are coming.

- Animal Crossing Mobile will connect to a console version for "added enjoyment."

- Pokémon Sun/Moon to be released Winter 2016 in Japan, Holiday 2016 in the US, and Late 2016 in Europe.

The humble bundle is better than most eShop sales. Plus you get to decide how much Nintendo gets out of the donations.
None of them are Nintendo games, so unless they made a deal for them to get a cut of sales, it's just between the publishers, developers, and charities.

Code lurked.
Sorry, I would of given you that if I knew.

Is Karous any good?
Looks cool, been following it for a sale. 50% off would of been an auto +1. Im still waiting on a sale for Kokuga. Damn long wait, love them shmups.

yea i was hoping tomorrow

ash comes tomorrow though cheap too 4 bucks
Interesting, seems like a fun little RPG.

You guys have peaked my interest with Pocket Card Jockey now. I'm going to try the demo but i've never played a game of solitaire in my life. :whistle2:

Pocket Card Jockey has an easy version of Solitaire, in that you're choosing card 1 up or down. The horse-racing mechanics take a little figuring out. I just kind of enjoyed naming my horse Butter Darling.

Yeah this isn't the right thread even though we've been talking about it, I was wondering something about Humble Bundles. I've never done one, have just picked up the scraps from what people would not want or need usually, but anyways if I pledge $13.xx do I get everything, including what's supposed to come out next week? If so, I'll definitely do that instead of buying one game here and there.

Also which Citizens of Earth is better? I usually prefer handheld games, but would take the better experience if it's quite noticeable. Sorry about bringing this up in here but I'm sure a lot of people have bought this here. Oh and I want the 10% off but don't want a monthly charge, how do I cancel that. I feel dumb asking this because I'm sure I already know. Oh well, I don't care. Any help is appreciated and thanks guys! :)

Yup, you get the coming soon games as well.

I heard the 3DS version is a little glitchy but i'm not sure what exactly. Bugs or framerate problems.

That is a coupon for 10% off the Humble Monthly Bundle for new customers which is a different bundle. If you purchased that it's very simple to cancel after your first month.

Thank you! Ok cool, I wasn't that far off. Anyways I guess I'll get the Wii U Citizens of Earth maybe, I'll look into that some more, and not use the 10% off, Not a big deal. I was a little skeptical of it anyways. I really appreciate it. Actually, I think I've bought some $1-tier Humble Bundles before, but I've never messed with the higher ones for whatever reason, I've really wanted Rhythm Thief for a while and possibly a few others I don't have there, so I really do appreciate the reply! Really, thanks again. :)

Actually, I think I've bought some $1-tier Humble Bundles before, but I've never messed with the higher ones for whatever reason, I've really wanted Rhythm Thief for a while and possibly a few others I don't have there, so I really do appreciate the reply! Really, thanks again. :)

No problem. I am really happy with all of these games. Best purchase i've made in a while. :D

Looks like Xenoblade Chronicles is being added to the Wii U virtual console today. The $20 pricing on WiiU for these virtual console games is generally too pricey for my tastes, but this is definitely the cheapest you've ever been able to find this game in the US. Maybe that Fire Emblem Wii game is next?

For those interested in non-deals, there's another round of Fire Emblem Fates DLC that'll begin to release on May 5th (scroll down the page a bit):

http://fireemblemfates.nintendo.com/dlc/

It's six maps (all of them part of the Future Past-esque DLC that actually just recently came out in Japan - I'm surprised they brought it over here so quickly) for $7.99 if you buy them as a pack, or $10.44 if you buy them all separately (first map is $.49, with the other five being $1.99).

You would think with FE's renewed popularity on 3ds this would be a slam dunk.

As for Prices in general I just wish they'd be willing to put them on sale more often than not. That introductory price they had for the first couple was great. These games all have value but sometimes you need to be goosed to buy em. & I am more apt when they are 30% or more off

Oh, the Digital Event will have other games besides Zelda. There will be a lot on Pokémon Sun/Moon and I imagine they will also talk about Federation Force and Color Splash. I would also imagine Nintendo's not stupid enough to have ONLY Sun/Moon during the last four months of the year and will unveil new games, even if most of them are schedule filler.
You would think so. I am reminded of 1997. Banjo-Kazooie delayed to summer '98. Surprise '97 E3 announcement of Diddy Kong Racing for Fall '97 launch. Maybe Retro Studios has something hidden and nearly ready for Wii U?

Can you use the Wii U controller or Pro Controller?

That's bullshit. Why would they sell something to use on the Wii U that you can't use on the Wii U? Nintendo can't be that dumb.

Humble only lets you get either the 3DS version of Citizens of Earth or the Wii U version. Any recommendations on which to get?

Stop. Its already been said 100 times. If a game can use the Wii classic controller you can use the Gamepad as the controller.

However if the game needed to be controlled with a Wiimote it still needs to be controlled with a wiimote.

This is all up on Nintendos website. As well you cant expect them to completely reprogram a game to have new controls in Wii VC. Wii VC boots the WiiU in to Wii mode. The only reason the Gamepad works as a controller is because they tricked the wii in to believing the game pad was a classic controller.

The best examples of this is Metroid Prime Trilogy, that was specifically built for Wii to implement Wiimote pointer controls. So you need the Wiimote since it doesn't support classic controller.

However Xenoblade and Pandora's Tower support classic controller and you can play them with the gamepad as the classic controller or you can use the Wiimote. Again, like I said, each game's page over at Nintendo spells out control options very well and is a lot more reliable than any message board in this regard

Oh wow, great info thanks. I assumed Wii VC games worked exactly like regular Wii games, so I assumed I could not use the gamepad to play the WII VC games. It didn't really bother me cause I bought a Wii U Wii remote and a Wii Classic Pro Controller specifically to play Wii games on the Wii U.

I want to point out that Metroid Prime Trilogy was really well programmed to be used with the wii mote controls.  Back on the Gamecube, I tried 10 or so times to kill the bug/insect boss with the mirrors, before getting pissed off and quitting, on the wii version I beat him on my first try.

I knew the part of the Wii Mote, but didn't know about the classic and gamepad was basically the same thing.

Shit, that's awesome, thanks for that, might be on the lookout for some game for the wii that can be played with the latter.

Thanks for that!

So you can use the regular controller.

Nintendo fanaticism aside that was useful information.

Appreciated.
No prob, also not a Nintendo fanatic, fuck them they make shit too difficult because it should have been clearly communicated so you don't have to ask, but I am an information and a find it fanatic. The stop remark was more, stop railing against *insert thing here* and go get the information.

Personally I wish they did go back and add functionality, or had the common sense to allow for classic controller play on every wii game when they made them.

Huh. I think my local Gamestop broke the street date for Sega 3D Classics Collection. I definitely recall looking at the case a full week ago, because I noticed that I only had one game from the list.

Yeah, I gave them a big fat goose egg. $9 to charities and $1 tip to the humble site. "N" can go fuck themselves!
Just to clarify, and Nintendo probably should clarify, but I would like to know how the devs get paid here. If NOA is covering them then cool, but if not, you just decided to not pay the Devs of these games at all. I would have liked a little more clarity there.

Most of the games here I already own, so I mostly contributed for the charity aspect of it. If anyone wants or needs to be paid, their funds should come off the top. I'm more than happy to support the developers as well, but by allowing the end user to put the funds where they see fit, I see Nintendo, and I'm going the opposite way. LOL

If you buy a MicroSD from Amazon (directly), you won't go wrong.  Stay away from 3rd party and eBay.

I named my horse ClevelandSteamer on Pocket Card Jockey.

The horses are "I'll kill you if you hurt him" cute, and the game is great, but I'm worried about 2 things:

1. Release Price.  I don't see myself paying more than $9.99 for it, no matter what.

2. Difficulty.  Once I got my own horse, I can't seem to win any races :/

I really enjoyed it so I'll probably buy it if it's not a crazy price. I have plenty of credit from that 20% off deal awhile ago.

Yeah, the stats on your starting horse are really bad. However, eventually you get better at the game. There are some fineries to the tactical part of the gameplay (moving your horse into zones, etc) that you might want to read up on in the the hint section. You'll eventually get better at the game. I lost several races before I "got" it, then I won two even against much stronger horses.

Also, the weak stats of the starting horse plays into the breeding portion of the game, so there's more addiction to look forward to.

Lost Reavers is cool looking but incredibly grindy and boring, at least as the beta offered it. You started with two missions and had to redo them a lot to get enough XP to unlock higher tiers. Looked like it could get crazy good and crazy hard at high levels though.

Also, Namco is 0 for 1 on cool looking free to play ideas. Rise of Infinites bombed hard despite having a really strong arcade 2v2 base to build off and incredibly cool characters.
