I was really hoping that Radiant Dawn would've been announced as a wii vc game this week. Timing seemed perfect for it.

Also if you go to the link Frisky posted for the game... Nintendo has a link to buy a physical copy and shows a group of stores it'll be available at. Amazon, Gamestop, Bestbuy, Target, Walmart, & ToysRUs. I did the Amazon option as I have prime.

Hopefully the Amiibo aren't a serious component of the game but some small extra to get those specific characters in your party sooner or something.

BB only has Fire Emblem Warriors up of the three Fire Emblem games coming out on consoles. BB wasted no time putting up Warriors which comes out after Echoes. So I am assuming Echoes must be coming out for pre-order very soon.

I didn't mean to make it sound like those stores had the preorder already up, just that Nintendo is listing them as retailers for the physical game. So there should be other options to preorder eventually. Amazon just happened to be fast to get the listing up. BB tends to be rather slow getting handheld games listed for preorder.

The Yoshi demo is pretty good, it seems much better than New Island. Looks really good for 3DS (never played the WiiU version) and runs very smoothly on my New 3DS. I will pick it up.

It's good for the 3DS, but the graphics take a pretty big hit honestly. But if you've never played the Wii U, your good to go. I agree it plays well on the 3DS, and this is about as good as the DKCR 3D version turned out. If someone likes the cleaner graphics and larger size of the big screen, they may not like this, but it's a good port from what I could tell.

I see "N" still has limited uses on their already limited demo's uh? These guys really have lost touch with reality in a major way.

Also if you go to the link Frisky posted for the game... Nintendo has a link to buy a physical copy and shows a group of stores it'll be available at. Amazon, Gamestop, Bestbuy, Target, Walmart, & ToysRUs. I did the Amazon option as I have prime.

Hopefully the Amiibo aren't a serious component of the game but some small extra to get those specific characters in your party sooner or something.

Deals last until they expire, and most deals last between 3 and 4 months. Most months there are no new deals. So keep up with when things expire and that'll be closer to when to expect something afterwards. However even then, don't expect anything because we've had it before that deals expired and it was a month before new deals showed up. It's all kind of random and deals don't just start on the 1st as 4 of the current deals were started in conjunction with Super Mario Run launching on 12/5 for iOS.

Examples of current deals:

There are no monthly deal promotions, as least based on eShop history. Maybe that changes, but it's best to not expect such things.

Wow...that's really weird. You'd think with a name like "January Deals", it would be something with a set interval. Otherwise, why not just call it "New Year's Deals"? Nintendo...always so strange and awkward, lol.

Some Walmarts have Tokyo Mirage Sessions clearanced for $15. None near me, but maybe you'll have better luck. If your on the fence, gameplay should make it worth the $$ even if the story is inspired by bad anime.

That glitch has always been there, you get gold points based on the original price.

It was a bug that awarded points for the MSRP instead of the sale price since My Nintendo started last year, but it hasn't been fixed that suggests it's not something they intend to stop anytime soon.

I understand. It just seems odd that the Nintendo website has the ability to correctly remove the graphic for gold points next to where it says "Buy Digital" on any game that drops under $5...but yet, you still get the points anyway. Sorry for being perplexed.

I finally tried Skylanders over the weekend. Got the starter kit for $3.99 from that Best Buy the other day. I had even gone to Gamestop and bought some second-hand figures, trying to get as many different elements as I could. 

What I didn't know is that if I had Skylanders Trap Team, I would need the specific Trap Master Skylanders to open all the portals. I thought simply having an Earth Skylander would be enough to open a portal. No. I need a Trap Master Skylander. When I realized that shit and ran into yet another area I couldn't unlock, I boxed everything extra I had bought to return. 

At least this stupid Skylanders experiment only cost $3.99.

The following game, Superchargers, doesn't have anything locked behind an element or character. You just need one of each vehicle type, Land Sea and Air, to access everything and most of the starter packs contain two of the three already.
