Well not many people buy a game for more than one console in the first place (excluding Virtual Console) so that kind of goes without saying..
*me with 3 different versions of both Hollow Knight and Shovel Knight Treasure Trove*

Bugsnax is a decent enough game but I can't believe Sony promoted it so hard at the PS5's launch. It has good voice acting, though many of them are wasted on the creatures making weird noises. But it definitely feels like an indie game, jank included. The ending was also... bizarre and pretty unexpexted. I couldn't tell if I liked it or hated it

It was decent enough to kill a couple days during the pandemic, but I couldn't imagine paying $25 for it now. Probably worth a download for game pass owners though
I find this funny, because a few months ago it was Sony doesn't care about indies games, they only care about big budget AAA games, and now it's why are they wasting their time with these indie games.

The FOV or motion makes me feel a little bit motion sick too. I remember a bunch of people praising it for some reason. It was passable but very mediocre, and I would not have bothered if it wasn't free.

I would not have bothered if it wasn't free.
Technically it wasn't free... you paid for it as part of a subscription and owning another more expensive console.

Not that it's a bad deal to go that route to get possibly more bang for your buck if you enjoy checking out random games.

QubicGames is having another one of those stealth sales for people who own any of their games. Chex Quest, Escape Doodland, Rimelands: Hammer of Thor, Shipped and Wondershot are 18 cents until 5/1. Not sure if any other games are on sale for that price since I own a bunch of their stuff.

Same type of sale for owners of previous Drageus titles. Super Cyborg, a new Contra-like is on sale for $1.95. Seems to be getting decent reviews.

Not sure if these similar sales are still going, but A Night at the Races is 99 cents if you own other Nakana.io games.

A recent point and click release, Ultreia, is also 99 cents if you own any RedDeer Games.

If these last two sales are no longer active, please let me know so I can edit this post. Cheers!

Super Cyborg is 97 cents for me.

For Qubic:

It's worth noting that since the last website update, it's now possible to view current discounts on titles you already own. You just need to load up that game's page (not the search results) -- it will show the game as purchased, but it will also show any discounts you'd currently be eligible for.

I just bought the game Blazing Beaks, and I'm not seeing the discount on the other Qubic Games titles that you mentioned on the eShop. Has it started? Or is it over? I was going to buy Blazing Beaks anyway since it's a fun game. But still.

Edit: I guess the discount shows up on the Nintendo website, not the eShop. And Blazing Beaks doesn't qualify.

This is screwy, because it's offering me Super Cyborg for $3.49. Not quite the discount I wanted, but then again, the only Drageus game I own is Sweet Witches (disclaimer: not as sweet as advertised. Just play Rodland instead).

I think there are multiple discounts going on, and they are dependent on specific titles... I just wish there was clarity on HOW they worked.

Edit: I took a screenshot showing the price, and I was going to post it, but I'm puzzled -- how do we add images to CAG posts? I remember being able to do it -- the best I can find now is the "Gallery" option, but the CAG gallery doesn't seem to let me actually upload images...

I emailed Qubic Games to see if someone will tell me which eShop title(s) I need to own in order to get the others to drop to 18 cents each.

Fingers crossed that their robot responds.

Chex Quest HD was the only 18 cent game that interested me, until I realized it's a bad port. The steam version is free and runs much better

Yeah I played the first level. It’s…rough, to say the least. Playable, but the movement especially is janky. I might try the Steam version, thanks for pointing out that one is free.

Just bought an oled, been out of the loop on digital only switch games. Must haves?

Thanks in advance
None really. Popular games are Golf Story (had a limited physical release) and snipperclips.

Tetris Effect is also up there but it's on other platforms so not really a must-have.

Blossom Tales is a great Zelda style game.

I would also recommend Eastward, a good nod to earthbound and that era of RPGs. It is getting a physical release next month though I believe.

finally started playing through mario + rabbids and it's great. should probably open fire emblem three houses and start that after i 100% mario + rabbids

I picked up these four games to add to my digital collection. I was considering more but I barely play my 3DS these days so I got the ones that I had some interest in playing. I have a few more games on my wish list so let's see if they go one sale. A couple are virtual console.

3D Out Run - $2.99
3D Streets of Rage 2 - $2.99
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology - $9.99
Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse - $8.99
I can all but guarantee you that 3DS virtual console games are never going on sale. Outside of keeping the lights on, Nintendo has been done with the 3DS store for at least two years now, probably longer; don’t expect any more sales on games Nintendo manages anymore (which includes virtual console games, even if the games themselves aren’t first party). Atlus, Sega, Capcom, and indies are the only games getting discounts still, and who knows for how much longer.

While that is probably the case, one can hope. Just think of all the money Nintendo could make if they put all their 3DS games on sale for 50% off before the 3DS eshop closes. All of these Altus and Sega games are top sellers right now on the 3DS eshop. It shows that if you put games on sale before the store closes people will buy them.

I'm seeing the following Qubic Games for $.18 on the eshop.
There maybe more but I have purchased or received some of their games for free over the holidays in the past.

Chex Quest

Eyes

Rimelands

Shipped

Akuto Showdown

Wondershot

Utopia 9

I'm going to get Utopia 9 with some gold coins.

3D Shinobi III is also must have, unless you already have it!

Also, just a reminder that Target still has B1G1 for 15% off for eshop cards.

One more thing, picked up the Sega Genesis Picross on Switch for $7.99. I'm a sucker for old school Sega and Picross is always fun.

I never heard from anyone at Qubic Games regarding which games trigger the 18 cent sale prices, but the Game Deals Reddit thread posters say that Geki Yaba Runner Anniversary Edition and Robonauts have triggered the 18 cent discount in other regions than the United States. Anybody wanna be the guinea pig and buy one to test this?

As someone who has participated in all the giveaway promos run by these guys, I've never played any of the games beyond just trying it out. They're pretty much all lousy. Maybe two or three worth starting more than once.

Don't feel like you're missing anything.

I own robonauts and can confirm all that i checked came up .18 cents.

It looks like some of Qubic's other titles are marked down to $1.80 today... as opposed to 18 cents.  Any chance it's an 18th anniversary for them or something?

Physical rewards are nice but they were much better when they were actually free with Club Nintendo. Now you have to pay shipping which pretty much kills the incentive for me. I'd much rather spend my coins on the new Switch profile pictures each week
