that was easily one of my favorite sub series of theirs along with snap on the 64. Shame that they only made one more for the gameboy and that was it. Though I read it had something to do with licensing for tetris.

Tetris worlds on the 64 was another awesome one I'd love to get ported.

Stadium 1 and 2 would also be appreciated. even better if they updated these for online playability.

The New Tetris is the best one.

PSA: a reminder that the game Pandemic: The Board game is supposed to be de-listed from the Switch storefront this month.

https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2022/01/pandemic-will-apparently-be-removed-from-the-switch-eshop-this-july

The game is currently on sale ($7.99) and the only paid DLC On the Brink Mutation is too ($1.79) for the next two days.  The game's other two DLCs are free.

Still hoping for a Colosseum/XD Gale of Darkness port. They could even tie it into a Let's Go Umbreon/Espeon since those are the starters in Colosseum.

I never got into Pokemon Puzzle League specifically, but I loved Tetris Attack on SNES and Planet Puzzle League on DS. It is kind of weird that they chose that game when we have Panel de Pon on the SNES lineup.

Appreciate the reminder.
Was going to buy but then saw that there is no online multiplayer, only local on a single system. Guess I'll pass.
I bought the game on Xbox One before it was de-listed there, and the single-player mode was challenging enough. It was almost like you couldn't stop the virus from taking over regardless of how many areas where you got it under control. You know, just like real life. :wall:

No Gravity Games is giving away 5 games this week: https://nogravitygames.com/birthday/

"During 11th-15th of July we’ll be giving out 5 games from our portfolio to people who have bought any game from us.

You need to have at least one game from No Gravity Games to participate."

You can sign up to their newsletter to receive a code for Pirates: All Aboard which qualifies you to participate in the giveaway. https://nogravitygames.com/newsletter

You must claim each free title when it becomes available. If you forget to redeem one of the free titles, you won't be eligible for the rest. The next titles in the lineup will become available free for users who have the previous ones added to their accounts. (If you miss a game, don't worry. Purchasing the currently discounted games from the lineup entitles you to rejoin the chain of free games).

07/11/2022 - Nova-111
07/12/2022 - Destropolis
07/13/2022 - Mystery Game #1
07/14/2022 - Mystery Game #2

I know today is the 8th anniversary of Iwata's passing. I wonder if Nintendo is doing anything special today in his memory.

Edit: 7th anniversary

I hope you're not asking for a sale in regards to someone's passing
No, but I know a few years ago they had that Golf game on the Switch that could only be activated on the anniversary of his passing. Just something in remembrance of a great man, like, I don't know, some special video, easter egg, that kind of thing. Maybe a thing about how he inspired an NPC in Breath of the Wild.

Hmmm... pretty sure I don't own any of their games. Any recommendations on the $1.99 offerings?

Also, looking at their games like that... it seems clear they are giving away the games not currently on sale.
If you sign up for their newsletter they will give you a free copy of Pirates all Aboard and then you can claim the other games for free.

Target, Bestbuy, Gamestop, and Amazon are running sales on Switch games and accessories.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - Amazon/Bestbuy - $34.99

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Bestbuy/Amazon - $29.99

Paper Mario: The Origami King (Switch Digital) - Target/Amazon - $39.99

No More Heroes 3 - Amazon - $28.49 (after clipping the coupon)

Don't forget that tomorrow is Amazon's "Prime Day" so keep an eye out for deals.

It's usually a huge disappointment but at the very least there should be a 20% off discount for warehouse items.

Wario64 on twitter is probably the fastest way to see the deals.

Damn, I even signed up with a alternate email address and still no code. I confirmed the subscription in both email accounts, am I doing something wrong or did they run out of codes?

Edit: So I tried a 3rd email account and got the code immediately, so strange.

Nova showed 9.99 for me as well, but went to the last step before confirmation and showed $0.
I went to the game page again on the eshop and this time, there was no price so it worked. So I guess if you don't want to wait a couple of hours, the game will still be free after you go to the final checkout page.

Obra Dinn is brilliant though; worth the struggle.

I'd also recommend Hypnospace Outlaw (while it's still on sale) as another fun game for wanna-be detectives. Manages to have an engaging story for what really amounts to a bunch of geocities pages.

Man I’m really tempted to get return to Obra Dinn but it sounds really fucking hard.
It's not too hard since you can bail without getting every fate accounted for, but there are some good Steam guides that offer hints for them if you think you're just missing something minor or obvious about it. I found it to be a great, challenging deduction game.

I'm just getting caught up on the thread so I missed yesterday's game, but I already own today's game (and the freebie giveaway to start the chain). I wonder if that will let me pick up the others as they become available.

It doesn't sound like it will...

So you'd need to own Nova-111 and Destropolis to get tomorrows game. Plus to get the discount option at the end you'd need to own all 5 games in the chain. That is if they stick to the rules strictly. You'll find out for sure tomorrow.

I own today's as well, probably from their sale at the end of last year.

Today's free game seems to be Nonograms Prophecy. I had to go through all of their games to find one that is free, does anyone have a website where they show the games that are free?
