Nothing too surprising from Nintendo other than Legend of Stafy coming to the DS and Excitebot for Wii. I do want to know though, what happened to WiiSports Resort? I was under the impression this was supposed to be released in Spring of 2009.

I think WiiSports Resort will come out in July. Games using the Wiimotion Plus will probably be released before the holiday season. Maybe WiiSports Resort will be packaged with the Wii during that time as well.

I have a feeling they just aren't ready to date it yet. Last I heard it was Q2, so April-June timeframe. Tiger Woods uses it, so one would assume we should see it before then.

I can't believe Pikmin is the only thing on the list that I'll buy - and I already own it! Punch-Out!! and maybe Tiger Woods look good too..

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus

Is this a re-release? because I thought there was one for the wii... hard to find for a good price too.

Whoo - I am a sucker for almost any game that is not licensed. This list is almost all licensed games. I will probably get everything from Sega and Nintendo and not much else looks appealing right now. Maybe Tiger Woods 10.

I am totally excited (get it?) for the Excitebots game. I like that no one had heard anything about it, and Excite Truck is still one of my all-time favorite Wii games.

I am happy, though I think it's safe to say that the US will never see Disaster: Day of Crisis. So it looks like I should just import it...

Yay for new Excite game, and Starfy coming to the US is a surprise =D

It's really good. As I mentioned in the DDoC thread, I find it really strange that Nintendo thinks the game won't find an audience in the US.

I picked a few of my favorite titles:

(it reads like the game collection of a retarded child)

Eduardo the Samurai Toaster
Jelly Belly Ballistic Beans
Personal Trainer: Walking
Puffins: Island Adventure
Crazy Chicken: Atlantis Quest
Smiley World Island Challenge
My Horse and Me Riding for Gold
Pet Vet Down Under
Horoscope DS
Dreamer: Babysitter
Drama Queens
Ice Age 3
Fritz Chess
Boom Blox
Help Wanted
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Virtua Tennis (was awesome in 1999 on Dreamcast)
Rockin Pretty

Boom Blox 2
EA Tennis (if it really does have Motion Plus)
Indy and Staff of Kings
Pikmin Wii
Punch-Out Wii
The Conduit (for lolz)
Lets Tap (again, for the lolz)

None of these are Day One titles, none are going to be that great, but ill get them eventually. Punch-Out being the best of the bunch im sure.

Oh, and Madworld.

So if Wii Sports Resort is not coming out until at least the summer, does that mean a delay for the WiiMotion Plus since that was it's main form of advertisement?

Sigh. The only two games that get my attention for the Wii are Klonoa and Pikmin, maybe.

DS has a much more attractive list. I see about 5 games I'll probably grab from that list.

It's not really surprising though... there's a few promising games but most of the list is composed of what the Wii's becoming famous for.

And I agree about Atlus, it seems like they're just pumping out games these days.:whistle2:|

When is pokemon platinum due out? I need to pick that up for me and my GF.

Also
Madworld
Pikmin (if the GF wants it)
Punch-Out (Maybe)
Super Robot Taisen (Maybe)
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner (Although I already know my ass will be kicked, lol)

The latest Nintendo Power mentions that WiiMotionPlus will be out before EA's Grand Slam Tennis, which is currently listed at a June release date:
http://gonintendo.com/?p=74548

As I said on one of the comment blogs, it's likely that Nintendo is saving the announcement of Wii Sports Resort's release date for GDC, after/around Iwata's keynote, as much of the mainstream news outlets will have someone covering the event.
Where the hell is Professor Layton 2 Nintendo?
I was wondering that myself. This game should have been out 6 months ago.

And Why has SEGA not given us some Virtua Cop and Confidential Mission action? Don't they have anything else to do at that studio except repeatedly rape a hedgehog?
