Yeah, I agree about his point about needing more civility.
I swear a lot, but I wouldn't wear a shirt like that etc. And there's a difference between saying "that's

ing awesome!" and saying "

you!"
Agreed. I also agree with context beinfg a factor. For example, around my dad I might say, "I'm tired of all the damn problems at work." However I would never direct cursing at him saying. "What is your damn problem dad?" I draw the line with that. My parents never treated me like that and I won't do that to them.
Cursing has to be wielded like a sharp knife, not a sledge hammer to hit people over the head with like that shirt.
Exactly. It's a Tactical Knife, not a Tacitical Nuke.
I seldom curse just because I want the moments that I do to mean something. If my friends or family see me cursing they know to stop and listen. When my sister and brother-in-law got a $1000 electric bill from AEP last month I went off dropping f-bombs and my friends looked at me like I lost my mind, lol. They were all like, "Mark, I've never seen you that mad before!" That's the point, I don't like showing that side unless it is for good reason. If you run off cursing all the time it is really hard for me take that person seriously.
The only time I stepped up cursing was when I played basketball in college and that was anger directed at myself more than someone else. If I missed a shot or screwed up a play, it was a simple matter to say "shit" or "damn it" to myself. In public I don't curse out of civility and respect for those around me.
Also, thanks for using the terms "cursing" instead of "cussin". I hate that country-fied version.
