No Irony Allowed OTT

Apparently someone made the local news stations aware that ODU's emergency call boxes weren't all working and now students and their parents are freaking out. As if pushing a button to call in that you have been shot is going to save your life...
It's super cool how the shitty nodes have broken the 'go to last post' button by putting old posts into the thread
I'm pretty sure that's just me.

EDIT: Oh snap, I'm back from the past!
I love how people thing that the OTT is a place to post retarded shit.
. . . and in that vein:
My other pu$$y? Mounted? love-cave? WTF?

Edit: Why am I not surprised @ who was responsible.
I doubt that's real but that's pretty funny stuff.
It's real, but not on accident. Some b-tards hacked a christian dating website spreading a keylogger and then went to FB for lulz. It's in the edit, some of other the posts were not so funny.
...

Cue Linkin stating how he didn't see that before because he doesn't have time comb through every post, even though that is exactly what he does.

 @ this guy I used to play SOCOM with all the time. He refused to buy any other games and has played SOCOM almost non stop since launch. Recently he has been bragging to me about how he was ranked around 50th. Well today I hear they released a patch and normally they reset the stats when they put out a big patch. I wish I could have seen his tears.

See above.

Can you get an FM radio transmitter for a Sansa?

That car I'm looking at doesn't have a CD player or cassette deck.

I don't know about a specific sansa model, but any FM adapter that plugs into the headphone jack would work. However, they all pretty much sound like shit.

This.
I have one I'll give you for the shipping costs.
Edit: It is this one-

Oh, I thought it had to plug into the charging port.

They're really that bad? It's probably better than paying to have a CD player installed.
Oh, I thought it had to plug into the charging port.
Only iPods have that and it's optional. I think you should save up and get a new deck installed. What kind of car are you getting?

I don't have a CD player already.

Currently looking at a 98 Ford Contour that's looking promising. Pretty flawless and only 25k miles.
What would I be looking at? $100? Or does it vary by make/model?
Roughly, yes. Depends on the price of the unit, the install kit, and if the place you buy it from charges an install fee. You can just buy the stereo and buy the install kit and do it yourself, it's not as hard as it seems. I did mine without prior knowledge or assistance and was successful at it.

I thought bestbuy did free install for any car deck over a $100 but from a quick look at their site it looks like they charge $50. But that just covers labor, you will still need to buy the installation kit.

edit: you should check out www.crutchfield.com if you are willing to install it yourself. If you get a deck over 129.99 they give you the kit and an installation guide for free and some get free shipping.

If I remember correctly from my brothers 95 countour, you just got to slip some U shaped metal things to get the deck to slide out. Shit's easy.

Ciao...

Watched Time Bandits today.

Electrician never came over last night so getting internet installed is up in the air again. It's funny that this 3G is working really well now but it blows that I can't hook up the PS3 and get some damn online in.

It's listed at $4500. My dad's friend who deals in cars frequently is hoping to get it for like $4000.

For a 30 MPG vehicle that looks pristine and, more importantly, has only 25k miles, I feel fairly lucky. I wasn't really expecting to get 25k miles in my price range.
