For some reason, I think this is really funny. It's like the retribution far outweighs in the crime in question, and yet it doesn't, because fucker needs to not be callin' that late.

Also, the new Uno commercial is hilarious in a non-intentional way. It's got this little sing-song jingle in the background, and the lyrics say something like "You don't get one card, you may get eight," but the "eight" sounds like AIDS everytime.

I guess I'm the kind of sick person who finds it amusing that a seven year old could contract a terminal disease from childhood merriment.

Why are we laughing then?

I really just want to stay home and play Socom until like 1pm today. Having second thoughts on the DS. I think it would get used enough, but I just feel that, come January when my friend moves back, a console will get more use than a handheld. Decisions, decisions. Especially when I have the chance to buy someones original DS on here, which should be at a pretty good price.

Hey, it's early. I got nuthin' right now. :(

And I like this here stayin' home idea. If a lot of money weren't dependent on my working this week, I'd probably go buy a new DS game (I've been looking at Final Fantasy... then again I've never played one of those games before, would FFIII be a good one to start with?) and stay home due to 'sickness'.

Yeah I can't stay home today. I took off Friday to help my brother out so I'm pretty much stuck working thru Christmas. Whatever though, atleast I make some decent money in doing so.

Final Fantasy is a great series obviously. The early ones are kind of tough just in the sense that they are very linear. I don't know about 3, but I know 1 and 2 are really repetitive and drawn out. I would assume that they fixed it up a bit for DS though so I would say give it a go. This game is one that makes me really want a DS :D.
 
apparently it's an old school FF, meaning lotsa dungeon crawling, not many save points and straightforward plot... so for me, it's a must :D
 
My friend has 3 and has stopped playing it. He says the game is super hard, and that he's just going to have to grind until he's a higher level, so it may not be the best starting FF game.
 
Damn, I'm still sick... at least I didn't have to go into work. Spent a couple hours this morning playing Hello Kitty Roller Rescue on the 'Cube. That's right, bitches. Hardcore gamer right here. It's actually kinda fun, if not a little clunky.

And this scares the shit out of me. On the other hand I hear FFV for the GBA is really good. I've heard nothing but good things about the game itself and that they did a much better job porting it over than they did IV.

Too much staring at a monitor can do this. I had days where I'd spend like 18 hours starin at the screen... day after day (work, then graduate work. it was fun... )... it got to the point where my eyes wouldn't focus on the screen and the words would just blur.

fuckin A. I thought I might get off easy with my take home essay for my Civil War exam. That got shot down today as she wants a 8-10 page paper.

2 papers of that length due in the same day = teh suckage
 
FF5 is a major grindfest too, man. Not levels so much, but jobs. 4 and 6 werent all that heavy on grinding in comparison. I dont have 3 yet so I cant compare.

I'm actually setup where I'm grinding levels in FF5 while reading East of Eden(Steinbeck). I imagine I'm doing both at about 80% of normal efficiency. Its just so tedious, I feel like I have to do something else. I read while I ground levels in both Nocturne and DDS1+2

How's the translation on FF5? I played so far on a fan-translated rom awhile back... tried to play on PSX, but the load times and wonky translation ruined it. I doubt it's for me at this point, but figured I'd ask someone who's actually playing it.

Add in a third paper of that length due the next day plus a presentation I've not even started yet that is for tomorrow, and you get the fun that is my week. At least it's pretty much done after tomorrow.

Just got home from work. Was fairly cold today but I survived once I started moving. Worked like 5 1/2 hours, got paid for 8. Gotta love that.

Nah, I'm not really that emo at all anymore, haven't even posted in the last few OTT's, but I'm just curious where this douchebag thought I was some kind of magicial japanese supporter for the 360.

I think 99% of Japanese games can lick my balls, I bought a 360 just for FPS's, racers, Live, and other fun time games. It sure as hell wasn't for Blue Dragon or whatever the fuck that game is.

My life is pretty amazingly good right now except for a ton of school work. Plus I don't have to worry about that gay EB job anymore.
