The first method worked, and I already knew of the second.

It's still broken though, and I'm trying to find out if it's a local problem (most likely due to some extension or something) or if it's just some bizarre bug (super unlucky).

Was there any update on whether Hollywood Videos would be getting restocks from GameCrazys or something? I remember LP saying something about that.
 
My local store was...not sure about others. I hit it up yesterday, nothing yet...they did say by end of week, so I'll be calling them daily before I waste another trip over there.

The HWV a few miles from me was pretty picked over on Monday night.

I went again yesterday and they had things that weren't there on Monday.

They probably weren't conversions, as HWV gets the conversion lists on Sundays, and usually has them done the same day.

It probably depends on how much crap the store has sold.

Funny, so does the car we are talking about replacing. I thought him upgrading to a 4 banger Camry would qualify.

This could be fun:

We bet you thought you were done with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Well you just hold on a minute buster, it looks like LucasArts still wants to milk a few more Microsoft Points out of you before they've had their fill. We say that because a new batch of achievements have been discovered for the game on Xbox.com (full list at X360A).

What's particularly interesting about these achievements is that most of them relate to characters made famous after the events that take place in Force Unleashed. There are achievements for defeating Boba Fett, Jabba's Rancor, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The interesting part about the third one is that you have to defeat Obi-Wan before and after he dies. From the sound of things, there's some new DLC on the way that takes place during A New Hope. It also seems like it tasks players with taking up the role of Darth Vader, or perhaps it will introduce an alternate history involving his secret apprentice.

LucasArts will be at the San Diego Comic-Con next week -- with plenty of announcements to make -- so we probably won't have to keep guessing for long.

My understanding is as long as the new car (category 1 passenger car) gets at least 4 mpg better you can still qualify for at least $3500.

My mom's looking into a new car...I'll have to tell her about this.
 
So a guy who lives down the street from me killed another guy.

They were downtown and the neighbor had his dog chasing people around and trying to bite them, so someone walked up to him and told him he needs to leash his dog. So the neighbor dude punched him in the face and the guy died.

Today he was arraigned and the judge asked him why he didn't just leash the dog and why he felt it was necessary to attack the other guy and he responded "I didn't want to look like a $$$"

Damn, the DD blu-ray prices are kinda outrageous. Even after the coupon code Amazon has most prices beat. I think I'm just gonna get Akira.

Ever since they changed their name from DDD to DD, their prices have been lukewarm at best. the 20% sale used to be ridiculous, I bought almost all my DVDs for a year then, but now WITH the 20% off, they're close to Amazon prices... and Amazon's customer service and shipping speed are way better.
 
I was looking at the scion XD, somebody at my school has one. They were a fair bit more expensive though. Actually drove a toyota yaris before the versa, versa seemed to have more room and better features.

I'm shocked you own a 10 year old car, Linkin. I figured you would buy the newest/shiniest car that resembled a toy.
 
That McCartney concert on Letterman was crazy. I didn't realize he played outside, they had the whole street blocked off.
