Damned Sin City. You buy a movie and you want to back it up, but nooooo, god forbid you want to use a burned copy and keep the real copy in the case. I had to disable the french audio (oui oui!) to get it to back up enough to be burnable on a disc.. didn't want to reauthor it because i'd lose menu functionality.. the reason it's over is because they threw some preview on it for Desperate Housewives season 1 on DVD and it's like 125mb.. damn that show! Oh well. Time to watch some Sin City.. finally.

I probably shouldn't of bought this, considering they're double dipping it and whatnot, but I saw it and couldn't resist.. I caved
Advice for future reference: use VOB Blanker to wipe any features you don't need. You could have deleted the Desperate Housewives preview entirely, and depending on how long it was, that could very well have saved you that 125 megabytes you needed.

Set the compression for the trailers you dont want to slideshow and remove the audio. Remove the audio for the languages you don't understand. Remove the lowest quality audio- Why have 2 channel and 5.1 when 5.1 will play on a 2 channel setup?

Is it wrong of me to find a sick satisfaction in the fact I didnt get caught up in all the BS that was my counties IBook sale. I see the pictures of people knocked down or trampled and I dont feel bad. Its more like a "serves you right." What the hell's wrong with me?

That said, seems a lot of them were crap. The whole city is up in arms. Fun times.

Yeah, I took off the French audio tracks and it gave me enough room.

It got about 5 minutes from being done and I was like yeeeeeeeah, because i'm dying to watch this movie.. and then the power flickered and my PC died. Back to the start.. 1 hour 15 minutes left.. hm.. maybe i'll get a pizza or something and enjoy it tonight. After thinking about it, I realized that I don't care about the double dip.. not too big on the "extra features" on DVD's.. it'll probably have a better DVD cover, though :(

This isnt your usual double dip though.

Frank Miller/Rodriguiz filmed the 3 book IN THIER ENTIRETY (should check spelling before using caps...). You can watch That Yellow Bastard from the beggining of the book to the end, and the same with the other two books. I'm waiting.

Back from BB, where I picked up Pom Poko. :) I'll have to watch it while I'm studying for my finals tonight, which I plan on taking all three tonight. :bomb: It's gonna be a long day.

 I needed that. The worst thing is traffic is so backed up at the moment, thanks to jackoff drivers that like crashing, in-ept cops that can't clean up the mess, and simple minded gawkers that can't help but stare at it, that I can't go see my girlfriend tonight... cuz if I get sucked back into that traffic, I'll snap, Ken Shamrock style.
I'm so happy because today I found my friends are in my head.
And they want out...with the help of the business end of a 12-gauge.

;) J/K

Did you hear the jokes about Courtney Love from the Pam Anderson Roast.

"Who would have guessed that Kurt Cobain looks better than Courtney Love."

Insert Dane Cook car wreck joke here.

He got hit square in the hips. That's his center of gravity. His limbs were flailing about. So he went flying out of the way like Eddie Gordo from Tekken when someone doesn't know how to play and is just hitting all the buttons at once.

I ordered a bunch of books off amazon when I realized that I don't share free periods with any of my friends this year

I got:
Battle Royale
Ham on Rye
Confessions of an English Opium Eater
and
The Luck of Roaring Camp and Other Short Stories (Dover Thrift Editions) for filler

Those should last about a month at a round 45 minutes a day.
did anyone read the news page of http://www.nuklearpower.com/
Apparently Otakon, think they're too good for Brian the creator of Nuklear Power. I'm tempted to use their contact us page and bitch at them. I
More likely there's copyright issues involved, given that 8BT uses Square's property and all.
then they should say so. They don't respond to any inquires... and Brian has headlined many a con.

I tried to do one that looked like me and when she started dancing she was a tad... :bouncy: :bouncy: if you catch my drift... I feared she was going to put a virtual eye out.

I don't know if anyone else has seen the new Nip/Tuck preview that FX is playing, but it was damn cool. Though it sorta spoiled, in a way, the whole "Is Christian dead" or not angle they were playing with the Carver.
I went ahead and got Sin City as well. I haven't heard anything new about the deluxe edition.
I caved in also, they had the Jessica Alba cover.
The only cover to get in my opinion.
Screw her. She's fucking overrated. Her "acting" almost ruined Sin City in my mind. fuck her. Clive's gonna be on my cover.

Never saw Sin City but if its anything like Fantastic 4, ouch. I blamed the role but perhaps its the actress.

That girl couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Granted, she wasn't the worst actor in FF (I'm looking at you Ioan...), she was still pretty horrible. The fun Evans had in his role and the awesomeness Chiklis brought completely destroyed her. Then, when you look at Sin City, she's just horrible. Almost ruined Hartigan's story, but between Hartigan himself and multiple Lorena Bobbit recreations make up for her acting.

"In the 'People vs. Larry Flynt' you played a white trash, stripper who was addicted to heroin. How did you prepare for that role? What, did you follow yourself around for a year?"

It's going to be on uncut Saturday, right?

At least she was better than fucking Luanne.

Does this mean that the website has a shitty reputation? :whistle2:k

And that's why her nickname should be "Miss Second Worst Actor/Actress in Any Movie She's In"...Between Ioan and Brittnay, she just gets to be second worst. ;)

I sat through all Dark Angel season 2, I can handle anything.

Of course, I think that was her peak of hotness, so that helped.

I never said anything about Albas acting ability. I had to go with my main man Bruce and it helped to have her on their as well. I think having Josh Hartnett on on of the covers would have been cool.

Yeah but he was the coolest. The times he was on the screen just made me giddy because of the awesomeness of his character.

It's always fun to look through pictures from family reunions and find out how many people have died in the last 5-10 years. And all the stories of forced marriages ... maybe it's a mexican thing. :whistle2:k
1 exam down, two more to go.

EDIT: Mr. T's on Conan for the "In the year 2000..." skit! :D
