I think I need to get a new ethernet adapter for my labtop. This makes me sad because I wouldn't know what to get or where to get it. I hate my lack of knowledge of labtops.

Well I have tried a couple different ethernet cables but my connection would keep disconnecting saying network cable unplugged. I know have a brand new cable plugged in and it is still acting up.

But if you look at subbie, he's contributed more which I think is better. Besides, the further you do as well, your ratio will shrink just by the sheer amount of ul/dl.
 
I've only been a member for a few days, though.

Plus, my connection is 768/128.

Plugged directly into the DSL or cable modem, or into a router?

It's really hard to maintain that kind of ratio when everyone's so good about sharing. It helps if you're one of the first to download, which I rarely am. :lol:

It is plugged directly into the DSL modem. It is an integrated Ethernet adapter.

It might be the modem, or might be the Ethernet adapter. Reinstalling the drivers for the Ethernet card might help, or installing newer drivers. Which drivers would depend on which card it is. If you open up the Network Connections control panel (assuming it's XP), it'll show what type of card it is on the right, under the Device Name, if you view the window under Details view.

And that's why everyone's ratio usually shrinks down to even out around 1.0 or so. I always contribute 1:1.25 in all my gets to make sure I cover for any that are lagging in leechers. I'm actually starting to hate having more seeders than leechers because they screw my ratio. :lol:

Too bad they're all fake. :p I'd rather look for real Elisha Dushku nude pics. The closest I could find were airbrushed (and badly I might add) pics from the movie 'The New Guy'.

I have mine set to stop at 2.0, but they rarely have a chance to get there. Stupid fucking seeders. :bomb: :lol:

You might as well do it the same as me (1:1.25) so you finish seeding slightly over 1.0 and it compensates for any other dls I got going. I fluctuate between 1.015 and 1.034 all the time now. :lol:
