Last night was rough. I stayed at the bar until around 12:30 and had a $60 tab. Now to figure out what to do about this PS3.

Do component cables go into the HDMI or the composite port on the PS3? (Dumb question to most of you I'm sure) If it goes through the HDMI I don't think it will work.
 
Why the fuck has Time Warner not activated my account yet? I get my modem, give them my information, they say it should be active immediately, it isn't, I call them and end being on the phone for 2 hours only to be told that it should go in the system by noon the next day (today) and sure enough it still isn't up.

Fantastic.
 
As if this whole PS3 situation up to this point wasn't bad enough, I might end up having to go to a GameStop to buy the component cable...

Why is it that digital TV signals seem harder to pick up than analog was? Bought a small portable DTV for the kitchen and it won't pick up more than a couple of channels. The old analog one i used picked up all the locals. Maybe the local channels aren't broadcasting as strong a digital signal?

I'm going to try getting a better antenna than the one that came with it.
 
Guitar Hero 5 is pretty awesome.

I'm not really sure how they keep coming out with new Guitar Hero games. There is only so much you can do differently once you start releasing new songs online weekly.

I was looking at those, but I don't really want to wait that long. I figure if I don't want to wait for the cheap ones I'm not going to wait for shipping either so I might just suck it up and go out to buy them.

Normally I'm pretty tight with my money, but I just got a new tv so I could have HD only to find out I still can't have HD. I'm willing to spend $25 to fix it now.

I have the GH3 guitar and I want to get GH5 .. is there any reason to upgrade to a new guitar? Any significant changes?

Unrelated: I said it before and I'll say it again, Batman AA is awesome. I'm loving the Riddler challenges.
 
Thanks Bioshocked, but I think I'll hold off for now since I've got RB:Beatles coming soon. I don't have much money anyway. :lol:

I thought all Wii games were $49.99. Best Buy is advertising GH5 for $59.99.

Not that I'm advocating purchasing Wii games.
