Nokia N-Gage QD Free After Rebate, small catch attached I assume

I might have to buy my own cell phone soon after having one provided by an employer for years. since I don't make all that many calls and don't mind using a headset, this could actually be tempting in a stupid must-own-every-game-system way.

Mmmm, Hot Pockets.

Gotta get to the store today. Ralph's has a special and the Sunday paper had a coupon, so they'll only be a buck a box.
What's the catch? Im too lazy to read heh
It would have to be something in the service contract.

Personally, I'm not all that suspicious. T-mobile seems to be a good company for those people I know who use it. I think this has much more to do with Nokia being desparate to build installed base. Remember when Sega was giving Dreamcasts to people who signed up for SegaNet for a minimum period? (2 years, IIRC) Nokia has reached this point of desperation in remarkably little time.

the catch is you have to sign up for a MInumum ONE YEAR service contract. So with the cheapest monthly plan being $29.99 a month + $35 activation fee you would be in it about $400 for the phone and a years worth of service minimum.
Plus you would have to pay this initial $200 for the phone and get your money back 8-10 weeks later.
