Did the LCD mod for nomad no problem
Now I'm trying to do the battery box mod. Got it wired up, but when I turn the nomad on with a game in, the screen flickers off/on. but I have sound and it seems like the nomad is running normally. but with no game in the screen comes on and stays on.

Edit 2 - That mod except I'm using the AA battery box. Actually managed to fit it in. Was one hell of a tight fit.
Edit 3 - tested with multi meter, getting about 8.5 volts, but when the screen flickers it drops to 7.5v. The battery is supposed to be less than 7.5 ?
