*norton ghost deletes ur hard drive basically, thats all i kno about it..pretty useful for CS guys or IT workers*[/QUOTE]

Why spend $80 (and go through the hassle of a rebate) in order to delete ur hard drive when formatting it is free...? Just kiddin' with ya grey, good deal...just thought I'd throw in a description that won't scare off people that may be interested in it but not quite know what it does.

Ghosting is a backup tool. Think of it like in a racing game where you race against a ghost of your best lap. It's an exact copy of how you raced the lap...a ghost image of your hard drive (or partition) would be an exact copy of it at a moment time. After a fresh install of Windows, for example. Makes for a good recovery point if ever the need should arise.
