I was just wondering that demo disc with the Joe game on it. Did it ever gain a following. I picked up 2 of these just for the fun of it to see if they ever became rare or not. Just checked on ebay and none are listed... Before you ask why i kept them instead of sending them back in, first i had every game they was giving away free and Like i said i wanted to see if they would ever become a collectors item since mostly all of them were destoryed

so did they ever become Rare or just junk

To answer your question - I really have no idea. I haven't seen one anywhere since about March, I'd guess.
 
I still have mine. I got mine the same time the whole memory card thing was happening. The thing is mine had no joe on it. Mine had snake eater instead. I got pissed cause a few of my friends got there's in the same week as mine. They all had joe on there's. Not me I had to wait to get sly cooper 2 on for xmas thanks sony. :cry:
 
I don't think it will be that rare. Do a lot of people really know about the whole issue of them being recalled? Maybe they will be worth more than a regular demo disc but I can't see it being worth more than $10.
 
I got two of the ones without VJ in the mail, so I bought one with VJ on eBay for $10 and flipped it to Sony for a free Sly 2. The lady selling it on eBay had no clue. I figure I saved her kids from a potential deleted memory card. ;)

Yes, but it was "free" so I can't complain. I rather it be factory sealed with a little hole in it than it be a used game where someone's exrcrement/urine filled hands most likely touched the game.
