The Holiday comes a little early this year, as the BC team has just issued out another update. The latest backwards compatibility update is now available over Xbox Live (or will be very soon.) This free update brings the complete list of original Xbox games that you can play on your Xbox 360 to over 300. Remember, your original Xbox games will look better than ever on Xbox 360 running in 720p and 1080i with anti-aliasing. You can also play cross-platform between Xbox 360 and the original Xbox over Xbox Live.

Don't really see anything that stands out, but still good for folks who still have these games and still want to play them.
 
It's nice to see Microsoft still supporting BC. I wanna fill in the generic where the hell is game.....fuck you Bill Gates comment

I've seen a lot of folk wanting the ability to play ESPN NFL 2k5, so guess this update is good for them. Still no Otogi, which makes me glad I stopped holding on to the game in hopes that it would be BC.
 
OMFG, finally they added MVP 05 and NFL 2K5. Now only if they can fix Marvel vs Capcom 2.

Just 1 hour left before I head home and play some 2K5.
 
I want Oddworld: SW and Otogi as well.. but as much as I'd like to see Morrowind.. I doubt even Microsoft has the resources to successfully emulate it on the 360 :) The painful memories of losing hours of gameplay from lockups still sting to this day
 
This is a first, for once I don't own at least one game added. Good to see they are still supporting this though, hope Otogi is added at some point.

I'd like to see the other Prince of Persia titles on there too. As much as I liked 2K5, other than popping it in real quickly to get the BC update on the 360 I can't see myself playing that or any of the sports titles they added here. Oh well, at least they are adding games, but really, nobody is playing some of these sports games from 03-04, its almost a waste of time putting them on the list. I'll have to check my collection to see if there are any others I am really missing on BC.

Oooo, just saw NHL Hitz Pro on there! I will probably play that real quick tonight.

Well, I guess I meant that I don't understand why it's such a big deal to some people... eh, I'm probably too damn old. Before the PS2 no one ever gave a second thought about backwards compatibility and although it's a nice feature to have I just don't see why Microsoft should be pouring resources into it.

I dont think microsoft was pouring that many resources into it. Look at the list its a ton of shovelware, and its the first update we have had in awhile.

I just have some sealed xbox games that I want to play without having to drag out that behemoth.

nfl 2k5 works, now if only they could have updated rosters, thats the tough part

i hope mvp 05 was a mistake and they fix it, waiting another 3-5 months for another update...no thanks
 
i guess im the only one that wants area 51 on that list... loved the single player and the multiplayer was bomb although not played by a whole lot of people. hopefully it gets added if they ever do another bc update.
 
Considering the new PS3's aren't backwards (correct?) this means good news for future followers of the 720 and what not, but lets not forget MS is going to charge for XBox original downloads, and for that reason we will see more backwards updates (so they can charge for the downloads :p). Nice to see a update even if it takes them many months before anything is finalized.

NFL2k5 is the best addition along with MVP Baseball.

My parents sure did! They'd have loved to not have gotten new systems (well, the Genesis at least) or have the NES and Genesis cluttering up the entertainment center. ;)

Good to see NFL 2K5 and Burnout 2.
 
Im glad to see Hunter The Reckoning making it. I wonder if HTR: Redeemer will work as well.

Im still waiting for Timesplitters Future Perfect.
 
It took MS over 6 months working on new BC list. Sadly, only 8 games is match on my collection with new BC list :(

Where's Otogi 1 & 2, Kingdom under fire: Hereos, Kung fu Chaos, Iron Phoenix, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, Samurai shodown 5, Serious Sam 2, Pariah, Men of valor and Deus Ex: Invisible war.

Pariah is already BC.
