sweet! Finally going to pick up RISK.
I'll warn people about Snoopy though...although great at its time of release (with an active community), its all but dead nowadays. It's single-player portion is also pretty garbage as its mainly a multi-player focused experience

Cheers! I've waited for Snoopy and RISK for the longest time! I almost bought them for that October promo.
I feel bad for Krome/Blade Kitten. That's their last game basically and it's already half off.
ya...and it's whole 59% rating on gamerankings helps as well ;)

!!!!

just noticed as well that some of the Dragon Age DLC is half off: Leliana's Song (280), Darkspawn Chronicles (200), Golems of Amgarrak (200), Awakening Expansion (1600)

its not advertised anywhere for whatever reason...its like they don't want anyone to buy them

Thanks for letting me know about this. I picked up Leliana's Song, Darkspawn Chronicles, and Golems of Amgarrak. The only one left I don't have is Witch Hunt, and I'll just wait for that one to go on sale as well.

It was on their forums and twitter feed.

The Golems of Amgarrak: 200 Microsoft Points
Leliana's Song: 280 Microsoft Points
The Darkspawn Chronicles: 200 Microsoft Points
Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening: 1600 Microsoft Points
Legion of the Dead Avatar Item – 160 Microsoft Points

I would have bought it but I have the PS3 version. I've learned a lesson DLC rarely goes on sale on the PS3.

I bought Risk on release and found it really unenjoyable.

The single player is... OK. Not bad I guess but short. The multiplayer is mostly annoying with people dropping out, long waits between turns and although alliances are encouraged when playing live, in a video game version it just feels like cheating.

IMO, I think Risk really should be played face to face, it just doesn't work on xbox.

Carcassonne, Catan and Ticket To Ride remain the best XBLA board game experiences.

i'm debating on picking up SP. When it released it was a game of interest and now its fallen right off my radar since a million other things are hitting very shortly. Good thing I have a week to decide

What i want to see more than DotW is permanent price drops. Its insane that games since Day 1 of the 360's lifespan are still full price. I want to pick up Heavy Weapon but theres no way in hell I'm paying $10 for it. Retailers always price drop old games so not sure why MS does not follow suit

Agreed, I finally capitulated and bought the Mirror's Edge DLC last month as part of the 800 MSP rebate deal. I figured it was the closest I'd ever get to a discount on DLC for a 3 year old game that apparently no one bought.

Because Microsoft knows people are desperate enough to just pay full price. Figures.

I did hear that a number of older live games have had price cuts (half), but I'm not sure of which ones exactly.

well I can agree since I just finished up with RISK's so-called "campaign" last night. Very poor overall and the 5 "missions" lasted no longer than 2 hours (most of which was just waiting for the CPU to take their turns)

they could have at least put some effort into it...

I haven't tried the online yet and not too sure if I will now either
The main CAG page says Peggle is 50% off too for 400MS points Gold members only.
Holy crap. Everyone go buy Peggle right now. DO IT!
Has anyone played the Scott Pilgrim game? worth the 400 points? looks like a pretty cool side scrolling beat 'em up
DEFINITELY worth 400 points! I bought it for the full 800 points and still have a blast with it. Does anyone happen to know when the DLC will be released for it?

I know it's 50% off for FAMILY gold members ( I signed up 3 days ago ) has it been confirmed for regular gold as well?
Looks like its Shank for week of Nov-15 (800 pts). Is this worth a download? reviews seem to be up and down.
Thanks for the tip ... updated the first post.

Not sure about this one, I have not even had time to try the demo yet.
