I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.
EDIT 4: Because no CAG wants to pay $5 more than he/she has to, shipwreck took the liberty of putting which games are eligible for $5 rebates on PriceGrabber. For complete info on the rebates check out this thread:

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

VJ DS was a normal markdown to 29.95. And RE4 is still $45 online. But a couple people (employees) have said that RE4 is on their markdown lists, so we'll see. I can't get out till lunchtime, so I'm sure plenty of people will be successful or sad when trying to buy RE4 and Pikmin 2 before I can try it.
 
Ive been up most of the night and unless the price dropped for it in one of those pockets of time where i passed out RE 4 was never up for being 10 dollars. theres a coupple of games on the overall list that either werent available at the start or were never discounted to 9.98 but overall many were. but id still say check in the stores because im going by the online price whose to say its not going to be cheap in stores.
 
started car up going to let it run for 20 mins... thick ice on window..... i doubt i try to do price adjustments till 9 or 10 am... going at 8am just to buy and price check.


i hope DDS really fell to 10 bucks

Anyone try calling or pming AMazon about the free starter kits... they are sold out but it says that you get 1 free with every game... you should demand to be put on a waiting list or something else free. (lol i got 3 already i got from TRU with buying other psp games,,,, like i need 4 more)

no kidding about that ice thing. I went to return some movies last night around 10pm or so, the ice was so thick on the window.. I didn't bother scraping it. I let the car run for 10 minutes, but no dice. It was hopeless.

Alright, which DDS is the first one.. the deluxe box set one? I don't have a PS2 so I don't keep up with this, but I always thought SMT:Noctourne(sp?) was DDS1.

Is this DDS1? The one that came out in April?

i thnk the box set is the only way DDS came out... i was shocked they still had one yesterday... Its been sitting there since OCT... 15 mins before i head out.... Should be able to report by within 1 hour..
 
Yeah, that's the DDS (it was only released in the box set, there is NO regular edition).

I have a good feeling about this sale, my TRU seems to be really stocked up. I'm just glad I checked the 360 BC list before I left, cause I would have been pissed off if I stocked up on Xbox titles and came home to find that only a few of them actually work on the system. With that said, good luck guys.

Just off the top of my head it sounded like Digital Devil Saga is one of the hot titles, along with Psychonauts, Resident Evil 4...and some others. I think Pikmin 2 is up there as well.

Well, as I drove by, there were about a dozen cars in the parking lot, but I have no clue if those are employees or not. At least there wasn't anyone sitting outside the door, that would have been embarassing for them.

I was thinking the same thing about RE 4 and Halo 2 and Fable. but those games have been out a while and it may just be a sale that toys r us is doing to get rid of inventory they have stocked up since I dunno too many gamers who shop there regularly because of how high their prices are and tend to stay. and they did sell Metal Gear Solid 3 with a bonus disk for 9.98 so im still thinking it coul dhapopen but I wont be crushed if it doesnt since i got plenty of decent deals so far.
 
I can't think of one good reason why RE4 would be on the list for markdowns, and not get marked down. I already bought my copy, so it's price adjust or return. I also pre-bought:

No one was at my Toys R Us. No gamers anyway. Got in, got two copies of FF1&2 (out of the 10 that were there) and left. And Res Evil 4 was marked as $10 out on a table. Only about five different titles on the table though and no markings on the ones I bought. Glad I read this site. :)

Well I just got back and while psychonauts was cleaned out completely there was still a huge stack of Resident Evil 4 and Pikmin 2 and yes they were 9.98 each for all the doubters. The cashier tried to tell me Resident Evil 4 was 44.98, but after getting her to agree to scan all was well. So anyone who thought they'd be wasting their time, you might still want to try. I was literally the only person at the store come 8 am.
 
wow great for eastern time. i dont have to wait in the codl to find out if it's true or not... I thought the rule of thumb is never ever to call the store, to see if the price is correct. cuase that kills the deal...

this is what i was told at the store..... I have no idea why the dude refuse to scan it.. so i took his word...

that i put it in CAPS cause that is how he said it...
 
Wow I just had a nice haul which made my Xmas shooping a lot easier....

RE4, Fight Night round 2, Virtua Quest, and Tekken 5 all for 10 bucks each, Thanks CAG and thanks OP!!!

Oh and the cashier had no idea of the sale as well, so he was shocked when RE4 and Tekken 5 rang up at 9.88 each, so don't be surprised if someone gives you a hard time at first...
