I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.
EDIT 4: Because no CAG wants to pay $5 more than he/she has to, shipwreck took the liberty of putting which games are eligible for $5 rebates on PriceGrabber. For complete info on the rebates check out this thread:

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

And I think the "best" deal was still the CC $5 madness about a year and a half ago...

I bet between me and my brother we bought 100 different games.....

Not that this is not fun too....definitely got some games that I was after but not wiling to spend big bucks on (Psychonauts, MX v ATV, Beat Down, etc.)

If other folks are like me, I grew up in the day you spent 2 months waiting for Atari to put out "gunslinger" so you could shell out $40 in 1978 money...so the thought of getting games for $10 just seems unreal.....

When BloodRayne 1 first came out, I saw it buried at circuit city with a $39.99 price tag. I said, wow never heard of it, wonder if its on sale. Went to the front desk to have it price checked. It was $3.88, one tenth of the listed price.
 
yea no doubt i just dont want to go and they come bak and someone gives me a game that they want afta i alreadt went. So i am trying to secure a deal for dds and tekken 5 be4 i go then everythign else i pik up i can trade for others or sell.

I didnt know about the price adjustment when i got there. But most of the stuff were gone already too. I overheard the employees talking, and they were talking about how good this sale is, almost everything is 9.98 blah blah. And I so happened to ask them to see if they have anymore RE4's and the guy came back from the back saying. "Sorry its all gone, man i wanted one of those too." So im just thinking they hoarded a lot in the back for themselves.
 
Went looking for Dynasty Warriors 5, but the haven't stocked that one in weeks. The salesperson did say they would be having a $5 after XMas sale that includes Metroid Prime 2 and Geist among others. Any TRU employees hear anything about this?

The absurd thing is that now even $10 seems to high for a lot of games, as I buy most games for less than that eventually. I wonder how many people will buy 10 games at this sale and then let them sit unplayed until they could even be had for cheaper.

i got 3 resident evil 4's. has anyone confirmed pikmin 2? i forgot to check this am. they had a shitload of RE4 and a bunch of others.

I just made my 2nd and FINAL stop at TRU. I picked up Metal Slug 4/5 (no more left).

If anyone wants this, I'll trade it straight up for a sealed copy of Pikmin 2.

Hehehe.. I went to the Durham TRU in NC. The employees didn't even know the sale was going on. :D

I could have gotten there earlier but my mom decided to drive to Lowes instead. I asked the chick if she had any RE4's left and she grinned and said those were the first gone. I asked for Zelda and that was gone. I ended up leaving with FIFA street, Pikmin 2 (last one left :D), Ratchet and Clank, and Metroid Prime.

I even asked her if she had an "official" list, but she didn't.
 
I'm back from the store in Lake Charles. It did open at 10 AM.

They were sold out of RE4s and Karaoke Revolution (This one surprised me).

This crizzayzey sale has me now looking for a gamecube, a system I would have never even considered. Anyone have an extra RE4 to trade for a Pikmin 2 or Pyschonauts PS2?
 
I went to the Bellvue TRU in Nashville, TN and scored copies of Pikmin 2 (a bunch of copies left) and Advance Wars 2 (2 copies left).

Sadly, no RE4.

Wow, I'm exhausted from reading the last 400 posts. Time to take my lunch break and get some stuff price adjusted. Might as well just get all 6 games done at once, I was debating splitting it up (three different receipts), but no one else seems to be having problems.
 
Just got back from the TRU in Fontana, California. Not the greatest selection left, but I found one last copy of Killer 7 and they had tons of Psychonauts. So I left with Killer 7 and one Psychonauts.
 
These stores are almost completely cleaned out:

Raleigh, NC - Crabtree
Cary, NC - Crossroads

There are a few copies of FF 1/2 and Doom @ the Crabtree location and nothing worth mentioning in Cary. If I wouldn't have gone to both and bought what I wanted early I would have ended up with only a couple of games I was looking for.

Though I found everything I wanted, I ended up not buying Conker or WarioWare Microgames on Wednesday, due to lack of funds. I'd be willing to trade FF 1/2 for either of these, though I'm more interested in WarioWare.

Just to let you know, you can get Area 51 at Gamestop for $19.99 I think it is a used price, but most stores should have that title used by now.

$10 is still cheaper though, but just figured I would let you know in case you really wanted to get it for cheap.
 
I decided to go before work instead of after work. I'm glad I did, because there was 1 copy of RE4 left when I got there at 8:15 am. Also picked up V-Joe 2.

Oceanside, CA TRU:

I had bought RE4 yesterday to ensure that if the deal went through, I would have what is undoubtedly the steal of this entire sale. I got there at around 8:10am this morning, only to discover as I walked towards the customer support counter to price adjust that an older woman, undoubtedly a mom, had a bag with four swords (GCN) and viewtiful joe 2 (GCN) in a bag already bought. Someone had not wasted any time.

After the price adjust, which was funny, because the girl at first took it and scanned it skeptically after I told her "I expect it will be 9.98." It did not initially scan at that price. I asked her if there was any way to just scan the game and not scan it in the process of reviving yesterday's transaction. The manager came over at this point, a stern older gentleman, and she asked him if it was clearance. He said no, specifically "definitely not that one." I said, "Miss, please just scan the price." So she did. And it was 9.98. And the manager was indeed surprised. And it was good.

Anyways, went into R-Zone with my printed list only to discover another CAGer, someone who said he worked at gamestop (shout out to the stranger CAGer), also checking his printed list and looking for deals. He grabbed wario ware (GBA) and I believe the mom I saw earlier might have been his, so the games I saw her leave with also.

Anyways, there were additionall a group of three hardcore nerds, who were REALLY going through that list. Props to them, they werent really hoarding, but they were buying more than one copy of some games, which is fine since there were more left. They got Pikmin 2, which my TRU had a ton of, DDS, Four Swords, which I think there was one more of when I left, and a few others.

I snagged RE4 (GCN), of which there were two left after I'd bought mine yesterday but I'm pretty sure the other two they had left (in the glass case, always ask if its in the glass case) were sold in the period of time I was in the store, and Viewtiful Joe 2 (GCN). I was somewhat interested in Conkers (XBX) which they didnt have, nor did they have Tekken 5 (PS2) or the Monkey Ball combo (GCN).

I went to the Huntington Beach store in SoCal and they had nothing...I saw some guys returning games by the dozen, I'm assuming they're from here or FW. I ended up going to BB to use the $10 coupon on Trauma Center and buying Feel The Magic and Def Jam online.

The TRU I went to had NUMEROUS copies of RE4 for the gamecube, I sold my cube a while ago so I didnt pick any up, in hind sight they would have been great trade fodder but oh well.. But as stated already, Most of the popular titles I was looking for ( Pirates mainly) we scooped up by employees either last night/ this morning. The employee working the register had a stack of games for himself behind the counter...
 
ok, so the rude hoarders there literally stole games out of my girlfriends hands who was staninding in line till the doors opened at 8. All she went there for was a mario party game, and bot 4 and 5 were snatched by a grubby looking man who weighed about 350 pounds and smelled of bigmacs. He even had little minions running around grabbing a buncha games, I hate this fucker. If anyone has a copy of Mario PArty 5 that they would be willing to sell to me I would much appreciate it! Youd make both me and my girlfriend extra happy this holliday season!

How the hell are you guys getting stuff for $6.65? All mine were 9.98 and I bought some of the same games others said were 6.65.


The $5 after Christmas sale was mentioned a couple times but never really got any push behind. I think The Successful Dropout or someone here posted somewhere that they'd seen the ad. I guess we'll just have to wait.

He grabbed wario ware (GBA) and I believe the mom I saw earlier might have been his, so the games I saw her leave with also.

Anyways, there were additionall a group of three hardcore nerds, who were REALLY going through that list. Props to them, they werent really hoarding, but they were buying more than one copy of some games, which is fine since there were more left. They got Pikmin 2, which my TRU had a ton of, DDS, Four Swords, which I think there was one more of when I left, and a few others.

I snagged RE4 (GCN), of which there were two left after I'd bought mine yesterday but I'm pretty sure the other two they had left (in the glass case, always ask if its in the glass case) were sold in the period of time I was in the store, and Viewtiful Joe 2 (GCN). I was somewhat interested in Conkers (XBX) which they didnt have, nor did they have Tekken 5 (PS2) or the Monkey Ball combo (GCN).

I'm hoping that when I visit my mom on the 25th, the TRU by her house will still have stuff. It's basically located in a small town, and every time I go in there nobody else is there. They had just about every Green Tag game and they still had quite a bunch when I last checked. So I assume that with an unadvertised clearance, there should be something left. At least if the employees don't get to it first.
