I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

The TRU in Freeport, New York has plenty of copies of RE4 for Gamecube.

I scored:

They didn't have Virtua Quest though. :(
 
I can't get to TRU til 5:30-6 PM... I hope there are at least a couple games I want that are still in stock. I just recently got a PS2 and I only have 1 game for it. I need to beef up the library.

After you complete your purchase at TRU, go to the customer service desk and ask the rep. to price adjust your games. Several of us have gotten our games adjusted down to $6.65.

I showed up at my TRU at about 10:30 EAST, I live in a rural upstate New York area, and almost EVERY game on the list was IN STOCK!!! Yes, even DDS and RE4!

I picked up:

Killer 7
Psychonauts
Racing Gears Advance
Mortal Kombat Deception

TOTAL COST $53

AFTER PRICEGRABBER $38

Games that I passed on:

Snake Eater (I'd rather wait for Subsistence)
DOA Ultimate (I'm getting DOA4 in January or whenever it finally comes out)
Final Fantasy 1 & 2 GBA (Hopefully it will be available next week when I come back)
Resident Evil 4 (I already own it, and have no deserving friends. lollerskates)


I also found the recently OOS Animal Crossing DS game at Walmart.

All in all, Toys R Us was pretty empty by 11:00 (of people, not of merchadise) so I had no problem with vicious soccer moms or anything like that.

So, if you live near Lake George / Queensbury / Glens Falls New York head over to TRU this afternoon / evening and you'll still find most games available!!!
 
Too bad most stores don't enforce a "one copy per customer" policy, but since this is clearance, it's hard to justify regardless.

i wish i live in NYC right now. everyone is saying lots of stuff still there. i woke my ass up at 7am this morning on my day off and couldn't get everything i wanted (i didnt' even want that much). i am jealous seems like NYC is the hot spot for vid games promo deals too like lots of developers go there to sign autographs and crap.
 
Just went to Natick/Framingham store (@ about 10 AM) and they had a lot of stuff there, picked up Ninja Gaiden and Riddick but they had lots of other Xbox and PS2 stuff. Just wanted to let any Mass residents know.
 
Any Utah gamers out there, I wouldn't bother with the Ogden store. Only games I saw were Metal Slug GBA and Wario Ware GCN and Pikmin 2's in the case. Mostly out of everything else including DDS, DDR, Kirby, Mario Pinball, Resident Evil were all sold out. Stick to the Layton store.

The guy at the counter scanned it and it was still $20, either the deal is online only, or theres a special edition or something rare to find that is on sale.
 
I got WarioWare GC, Alien Hominid, Psychonauts, Pikmin 2, 4 Swords, and FF1&2.

L.A., don't bother with Burbank or Los Feliz/Glendale if you haven't gone yet. Everything was picked clean by 9am.

Both stores said that RE4 was all bought up days ago. And you know what? I'm not going to blame the mythical hoaders for that. Haven't you guys figured out that the faceless hoarders that you blame don't exist? It's when 20 separate people show up to pre-buy/price-adjust. But I guess it's easier to blame one guy who came and bought them all, who's probably about as real as Santa Claus.
 
Not sure if anyone's posted about the Los Feliz (Glendale) store today but I picked up Final Fantasy 1/2 and the poker DS game. There were a bunch of games dumped into two big metal bins right by the register.
 
Thanks a ton I picked up FiF Dawn of souls for gameboy and RE 4. There where no things that said these where on sale at my TRU is that the way it was suppose to be, There where a ton of people looking for games at mine and alot of people with 4 or 5 versoins of the same copy, thanks a ton tough.

Yeah, I went to the Times Square TRU and they had a bunch of games still in stock. I was surprised because I went so late I figured everything would be gone. I only checked the GC/GBA sections though since I don't have a PS2 or XBox.

So if you're in the NYC area, check the Times Square TRU!
 
For those Houston gamers, the Willowbrook TRU had about 8 copies of RE4, 2 DDS, and a couple of Alien Homid among others. Their staff was on the ball going through the list of games and marking them out on the shelves.

Anybody know if they take games back from October? I have the receipt but I just noticed it says 45 days for games, 90 for all others. I thought it was 90 for all.

I didn't really have trouble, the girl working the register couldn't really believe there was any reason to check the prices since I bought them this week and prices only ever change on a sunday, and the games weren't even in the ad. But she finally agreed to check, and had to ask mr. didn't-get-his-coffee-this-morning-dude and together they figured it out.

The strange thing was they wanted to understand *why* the prices were lower before she adjusted the prices; I couldn't convince her to just do it and worry about it after I was gone. It shouldn't have made a difference, since she said the prices would be adjusted no matter what the reason, so why did I have to wait for her to figure it out? But I'm not complaining (about that, anyway, just the fact she was so absolutely sure the prices couldn't have changed she almost couldn't be bothered to check).
 
i have 3 Resident Evil 4 up for grabs (and no i didnt clean them out, they had a few more left) and will sell them at cost...but i really would perfer to trade them for DS games i dont have yet (CML) so if anybody has any of those games let me know...has to be complete and like new and i will not sell these for at least 2 days since i want to trade first

NO RE4....they have the display boxes out, but no game
NO DDS......i searched

i grabbed the last mr driller ds and 1 ff dos

they had a ton of ff dos there though
and 3 xbox 360's as of 1:30 pm!

Nope, won't work. I tried last week and my receipt was 48 days old and they wouldn't do it.

It's probably because of the transit strike, that it's not cleared out yet =P

Well I went to the Long Island City TRU, They have a lot of MGS3 Snake Eater, so I doubt the price is markdowned. All recent releases I saw on the list are still behind the counter in the glass case, so it's very unlikely the prices were markdowned. When I left there were 2 copies of RE4 for GC left in the case. They had bins saying Clearance Games, but nothing good, anything good is @$20 which is its usual retail price. So basically I came home empty handed...

I don't understand. I thought a price adjustment is for when the price changes. So if the price is $9.95 then how can it be adjusted to $6.65?
 
Thank God the strike is finally almost at an end. I'm off to the races, one more time through the midtown TRU and the one by my home and I will be done with TRU... that unless they actually have that $5 post xmas sale! *faints again from anticipation*

Just hit Shelbyville Road in Louisville. They had many of the games listed here but I just couldn't bring myself to buy any.

The slimeball said "We don't price adjust unless it's an advertised sale". I was late for work, and given my "found-through-questionable-means" methods I decided not to push to a mangler.

Brockton was totally cool about it, even though their store is an armpit.

Well, since I got most of what I wanted at the Cherry Hill store, the only things I looked for at the Burlington store were FF I & II, Halo 2 LE, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Slug Advance, and Dead To Rights PSP. No sign of Ninja Gaiden, Metal Slug Advance, or Dead to Rights PSP. I did notice Psychonauts (PS2) and Killer 7 (PS2) though. I'm sure there were some other games too, but I wasn't looking too hard. I'd suggest getting there ASAP just in case. Good luck!

fuck . . . the clerk helping me was kind of a bonehead. He came up with $6.65 and said that was how much I would get off of my games . . . then I had him return the games and rering them to the 9.99 . . . I would have saved $30 if he had read the register right in the first place.

Oh well.
 
Great sale. Scored Digital Devil Saga and Tekken 5, the two games I wanted most. I can't believe the awareness level of this sale. I've taken advantage of the previous toysrus and kb sales, and I was generally the only one at the stores who knew about the sale. Wth this one, I saw CAGS, moms, grandmas, and even employees with lists and clearance games in hand. Glad I rose early for this one.

By the way, I dare any CAG to call up a local toysrus around them. Consider yourself lucky if you don't get a busy signal and consider yourself extremely lucky if you are ever transferred to the R-Zone successfully.
 
Picked up 3 copies of Digital Devil Saga at the Fresno Toys R Us. I believe they were the last 3 copies.

I was searching for Resident Evil 4 and Wario Ware, but to no avail. The TRU clerk told me "some guys came in earlier and cleaned everything out". =/

Oh and guys if you are seeing copies of DDS around, PICK THEM UP. There is like a 100% chance somebody here will want them.
