It's a deep sea shark, so it must be pretty messed up or near death to be seen near the surface, so it was bound to die.

Man that thing looks crazy. Everything about that shark is odd as hell. I think it lives so deep down in the ocean, not because that is where its prey is, but because it is embarrassed to come closer to the surface and show itself to the other more popular sharks!!!
