I purchased a eVGA Geforce 6600 256mB for around $100 on eBay. I was just wondering if its a good purchase. It was more an impulse buy than anything and I was just wondering if it was worth it. Also what does eVGA mean? Thanks.
 
eVGA is a brand. For the price you didn't get a bad deal. Truth be told you would've been better off with a 6600GT or 6800 instead of a 6600 though.
 
Not bad for $100, though I would have gone a bit further for a 6600GT or a 6800 (like Nogib posted).

You should be able to run those games. I know I can, but I have a 6600GT.
 
Awesome thanks. I head it came out last year and prices were around $170 on different sites. I know its not as fancy as the GT but its a step up from the X300SE bundled with my computer.
