It should be $8.99 where its stocked.

This is a good deal for harmony users who don't want to spend $50 on their dongle.
It does not have the ability to turn the PS3 on or off.

I just recently picked up a Harmony remote. This looks interesting; unfortunately it's showing as unavailable at all the stores on the "check store" button. Though that tracker can be pretty inaccurate. I may just need to swing by there some time.

This remote is definitely awful, but as the OP pointed it, it's a cheap alternative to the BT dongle for Harmony remotes.

the buttons feel like garbage, its not even close to the sony bt remote which i also have.
the dongle works perfectly and is the real deal, it just comes with a crappy remote.

For quite some time, it was your only option in terms of using Harmony remotes with the PS3. Logitech has released an adapter, though. The problem with using the IR dongle, of course, is that you cannot use such remotes to turn the system on.

Anyone who has this: Was there anything special you did setting it up with your remote? I found one, bought it and haven't been able to get my Harmony to talk to the dongle at all. I've tried everything —$even manually inputting each command from the Nyko remote. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not the best remote but I got for 2.99 from the Circuit City liquidation.

Works well for the dongle alone, I have a learning Universal Remote( not harmony) and I was able to learn the commands for the PS3 with this without issue.

Any idea if BB does a price guarantee on this since it's a clearance item? I bought this in Mid November for like 14 bucks and if I'm in the area at all over the next few days it'd be nice to get the 6 bones back but if not still was well worth what I paid.

yeah. when you add the deivce go to game console with dvd. then nyko and enter blu wave as the model.
the onlyt hign you will want to reconfigure is the enter button.
