Nyko Zero PS2 controller $20

terutt

CAGiversary!
Picked up at Gamestop (new).

Came out last year apparently at $50. Google it and you will see positive reviews.

Nice controller...might replace my trusty old Logitech (the black one from a few years ago...that new silver one they came out with a few months back is a total POS).

So, if you are in the market for a wireless PS2 controller might want to check it out.....

I tried this controller before (my friend has 2 of them) and they are nice...not worth $50, but for $20 it is something worth checking out.

I went to some considerable lengths after getting a ps2 last christmas to hunt down this controller. I had heard that it was closer to the 360 controller in feel and it has a couple of battery options, so I paid a good amount for it.

The shoulder buttons are definitely in a weird position. You really only feel comfortable hitting the L&R 1's or the L&R2's at any given time. Definitely a bit clunky. And the kicker is that the LEFT ANALOG STICK BROKE on me after less than 2 weeks of use... and there really isn't any sort of repair I could do on it. Sixaxis all the way, or logitech if you're cheap and don't mind the way it feels.

What do you mean? Can you use the Sixaxis controller with a PS2? I thought it used bluetooth?

Do they make a 5.8 ghz controller for ps2...or something that doesn't operate on the 2.4 ghz band? We have a wireless router and every wireless controller I have tried doesn't work correctly because of this.

There are a few older 900mhz controllers that may work right.

I mean via ps3. Playing ps2 games is pretty much all I do on my ps3 now. Granted there is no rumble (yet), but I think that's a small price to pay for a much better feeling controller with internal rechargability.

But as far as ps2 goes, Logitech is still probably your best choice.

I checked the site, sucks that they don't have any online I wouldn't mind ordering one for that price.

I got one after seeing it for $20 at GS and reading the reviews but I returned it because it made my hand hurt. I don't have big hands, you just have to "retrain" your hands and I said F* it! I have a black logi I am very happy with.

Both of those sites are the same company now, it just wasnt labeled Nyko. So you had to search "ps2 zero wireless" and it would show up.

Controller dropped to 14.99, picked one up tonight, looks good, plays nice, almost like my logitech, well worth the price, also, the logitech is now 29.99.
