LAS VEGAS - Police say they have arrested O.J. Simpson on charges related to the armed robbery of sport memorabilia.

Simpson was arrested shortly after 11 a.m. and is being brought back to a police office, Capt. James Dillon said.

Several police officers were seen Sunday entering the hotel where Simpson is staying in Las Vegas. A security guard said police took Simpson out a side door shortly after.

The arrest came after police also arrested a 46-year-old Arizona man, Walter Alexander, on Saturday night.

Alexander was arrested on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon, police said. Two firearms were seized.

Police are still determining charges against Simpson.

there's only one word for this: Lollerskates!!!
What'd he do to deserve such a thing?
um....gonna go out on a limb and say armed robbery.

oh, and murder.

O.J. Simpson = class act

Is there a point where someone is just so fucked up that they simply ship them out to some secret island to live out their days more or less alone? Because I think O.J.'s there.

Britney should go with him.

I've been waiting for him to get arrested again for a long time.

I wonder what sports memoribilia he was stealing?
Juice = innocent.
yep, it's perfectly normal to get wrongfully convicted of felonies twice in one's lifetime. Says nothing about how sketchy he must be at all. and that book "If I Did It"? Perfectly normal to write a hypothetical story about how you may have killed your ex wife and her boyfriend, after you were somehow acquitted of their murder in a trial where the evidence against you piled up to the sky.

yep, totally innocent.

YOU LEAVE HER ALONE!!! first and last joke I'll make about that attention whore youtube guy.
How would this be old? He was just arrested today.
They've been investigating him for a day or two now. This was just the actual arrest. Not old but new info on an already running story.

If you have a problem with Britney, you'll have to go through me.

And I am hard to go through because I am tangible.

Ok, you guys can have Britney. She hasn't actually killed anyone yet although I imagine K-Fed's going to get the kids so that she doesn't get a chance.

Not to mention doing a great job looking for the REAL killer. Oh wait, he must have got tips the suspect is a golfer...

Man those kids must be fucked up by now. sad...
Kids? His youngest is around 20 and his oldest is around 40.
okay, we get it, you're trolling the thread. Congrats, here's your cookie, and btw, older people can be traumatized too.

I'm not the one calling him an "idiot," accusing him of murder when he was found not guilty, and making other random assumptions. But whatever. I'll leave this thread alone so you can continue your O.J. bashing. Have fun!

Wtf? How can a kid in 1994 be 40 years old? Time warp? His kids by his murdered wife are 22 and 19 now, and I'm sure at least mildly fucked up. His previous kids probably weren't as affected.

You're right, acting like OJ was walking along the sidewalk and suddenly got slapped with murder changes, then, whaddaya know, it happened AGAIN with armed robbery, is a totally harmless, fair, and normal attitude.

yeah, it's telling that your most insightful post in the thread is the one where you storm out crying. if you have something to say, fucking say it. Don't post little one liners like "he's innocent" and expect people to carry on a legit conversation about it.

man, Fox News' Heraldo Rivera is really sicking it to him right now. He's got all this proof that OJ did the armed robbery. Holy shit this guy is chewing him up really good.

Honestly I feel sorry for his two kids... think about being a senior in high school/freshman in college and being teased by others saying "Why did you dad kill your mom?"

Shit what else is he going to live for? rag on his own life? lol

Based on what I saw last night on Fox News (yes I know they are really bias)...they seem to have spoken to enough people who have witnessed OJ doing all this shit and saying to them to deny his involvement. All he needed to have said to someone or do it over the phone (or voice mail) is something like, "If they couldn't get me for killing my wife and the other guy, they are certainly not going to get me for this one".

LoL - joke is on you because OJ is going down for this "random assumption"
I can't believe he said "I thought what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."
It's true - OJ's going to be staying in Vegas for a looong time :D

It is worth mentioning that in the eyes of the law he is innocent. He was found innocent of murder in a criminal trial because the jury didnt think the prosecution proved thier case beyond a reasonable doubt.

As to his new charges...(in the eyes of the law) he is innocent until proven guilty as well.

In the court of public opinon however....it is a different story. Unfortunately it's guilty until proven innocent, and even then in OJ's case the public still thinks he was guilty. I sure wouldn't want to be accused of a crime because whether I did it or not, most lay people would assume I did.

oh god this guy is SOOOO fucked.

more evidence and people are coming forward.

some prisoner is about to get a fresh taste of OJ in a few months :)

As a lawyer you should know the difference between innocent and not guilty.
I have a feeling he's going to get away with this/serve a short sentence.
how?

the only thing I could see his defense is that the media was broadcasting all the evidence PRIOR to a trial.
