I've had similar experiences shipping to people with lots pf positive comments on Heatware.com too, never actually been burned, but waited up to a month to get paid by guys with like 75+ positives... after this one I don't think I'm going to ship first at all anymore.
See, that's what I don't understand in this type of situation.
Getting high enough feedback to have someone ship first is one thing, you do a few deals, and get yourself high enough that you can ask for it. Little time and little money investment.
Where you get to the point where you're in the 50's and up for feedback, you know how to do things in a trade/sale, why the heck would you let it go to heck like that? I know that people can have family emergencies, as well as other issues with real life getting in the way of doing things, though can people honestly say they can't scare up 10 minutes to get to email or on CAG (or wherever) to get emails/PM's to people and say what's going on? Is that really so hard? If you suddenly decide to scam when you have feedbacks like that, why did you even bother getting that high in the first place?
It's just one of those things that I, as the person that I am, can't understand why someone would do something like that. I guess I'm thinking too much of my fellow person.
The quicker we deal with these issues and the quicker they're dealt with, the better, since it's less work for everyone concerned.
eshbaums, glad I could help, and I hope this will be quickly resolved. A learning experience for everyone, and I'll be happy to do for St. Louis CAGs what Stink_Pickle did for you in Austin.
