Obama's Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel: "Dead! Dead! Dead!"

I've made one thread in this forum, about the man who inadvertently killed hils children when he made them trudge through the snow in an attempt to meet their mother after his truck broke down. He was charged with murder, and I thought it would provide some interesting discussion about whether or not he should be considered a murderer. Unfortunately, everyone unanimously agreed that he did indeed commit murder, so it would up being a waste of time for everyone.

But this... this is beyond a waste of time.

I guess it is good that Rahm wants to disarm the population....the same thing Hitler did in Nazi Germany.

I say we completely repeal any assault weapons ban before the zombie apocalypse comes. If L4d taught me anything, its that a pump action shotgun is not always adequate.

there are a lot of these guys here.. level1 and thrust are the only two legitimate CAGs that believe in the Alex Jones propaghanda. all the others seem to be here only to spread their nonsense. the weirdest part is that they usually aren't brand new members... look at OP, registered six months ago yet this thread is the only CAG activity he has.
 
I am no Alex Jones fan. I don't know where you got that. Occasionally he brings up good issues worth discussing. So does Bill O'reilly and Keith Olberman. It certainly doesn't mean I am a fan of them either.

I make it a personal policy to NEVER shoot the messenger, or throw the baby out with the bathwater. If weird al yankovick started doing a political comentary show, I wouldn't write off everything he says without hearing it either. Koggit can call that personal policy ignorant if he likes, but I was raised to analyze information itself, double checking it myself, not obsess on the credibility of source.

For those of you that are so put off by Alex Jones, there is no reason you can't watch the other videos, straight from the horses mouth, and comment. Clearly the OP tainted the whole thread by posting one Alex Jones video along with other clips arguably worth discussion.
 
you're a fan of conspiracy theories, is all.. i didn't mean specifically alex jones, i just meant the whole prison planet mentality. bilderberg, 9/11 conspiracies, new world order, zeitgeist, etc.. all of it, it's all the same shit.
 
Oh ok. Well thanks for clearing it up. Fair enough. Except I opt out of the 9/11 conspiracy buff stuff, because I researched a great deal on it, and came to my own conclusions that most of the conspiracy shit was wrong or very far reaching.

I'd only like to point out that the only thing that makes many things considered "conspiracy theory" is the fact that main stream media doesn't cover it. Which either discredits the theories or the main stream media. It mostly depends on what you trust for information. I only trust myself.
 
I only posted the Alex Jones video, because he shows the Rolling Stone article that quotes Rahm.

Obama and Emanuel are set to disarm the population, just listen to their own words. They are pushing forward the same agenda Bush was a front for.
 
against better judgment, i'll reply seriously: emanuel wants to prevent people on no-fly lists from owning assault rifles. that's really not unreasonable. it's just the tin foil cult trying to make mountains out of molehills.
 
Do you have any idea how easy it is for the government to put a name on a no-fly list? There are no requirements by law or red tape. I will probably never link this source again, but you can see for yourself just how well run the no-fly list is.

However, against my better judgment, I would hope you can see the big picture here; and see how easily and quickly a government can go outside it's constitution by using something like the no-fly list as a loop-hole to circumvent anyone's rights they please, without any oversight.

Like many things though, acceptance of policy like this really all boils down to how much faith one has in their government to "do the right thing" with any new power we grant them in the name of "safety". I fear that you, my dear koggit, are on the opposite side of this "trust fence" than many of us.

What's next? What is the point of all of this? Even if 'the government' is going to take away all our guns what exactly are we supposed to do about it and why?

Except when you're in a narrow hallway, so the zombies line up neatly. You can mow them down with the assault rife with perfect ease. Not saying that in a hallway situation you're fucked with a shotty, but still, it's much more fun to use the assault rifle in the hallway.
