Obnoxious Xbox 360 bundles ship 12/12 at GameStop.com
warning. someone on gamefaqs reported buying a bundle from them back in november and they haven't gotten their system yet. Also gamestop started sending out parts of the order seperately and shipped it overnight and charging the customer that extra charge (his example was $60 shipping charge on one game, ridiculous). I am going to call them in a bit and make sure they don't try to screw me also. if you ordered this i recommend giving them a call to make sure they are only going to ship it all together.
I was worried about this also. I called twice and both people assured me that they would ship all together. The second dude even went as far to say if the order did get broken up, the system would ship first. Of course, all there "guarantees" are worthless.

We can hold out our hands and hope! (until one hand fills with sh!t)

Don't buy it!!! I already put mine away due to the crap games that are out for it right now. I had it pre-ordered (at game rush since the summer) so i didn't have to pay the god-awful prices but at this point it isn't even worth $400.00

Not that i am going to sell it so don't ask and not that it won't be worth it but right now the games are basically graphic upgrades.

If you arent going to use it, why not sell it and make a couple hundred(assuming its still new)? Get it when good games come out and use the profit to buy them.
Not that i want to buy it from you - im perfectly happy getting a free one
Not to defend ebgames or gamestop (I never would) but their b&m and online sales are operated independently. So it is possible that while the stores didn't get their second shipment their online warehouse did.
thats bs either way. they should priortize the b&m customers before the casual online consumer

They probably get around the in-store pre-order issue by saying that the online and store divisions are two separate entities or something loopholish like that.

Regardless, it is pretty inconsiderate of them. They can only lose in-store customers over this.

omg, gamestop.com has new bundles, same garbage as before, but check the ship date "Pre-Release ETA: 2/28/06"

who in their right mind is going to pre-order a $1,000 or $1,500 bundle that will not even ship until the end of february? they must be crazy.

those morons already lost me thanks to xbox 360. its gamerush and game crazy for me here on out

I think I'll wait until next summer or even next Christmas to pick one up. By then the glitches should be worked out and maybe a price drop to boot.

Ok, bump for this, because i decided to go for it. Keep in mind that I had already put $50 down to reserve a 360 at a B&M GS back in July. Today I received everything that I had ordered in the online bundle, including the premium 360. :whistle2:D On the downside, this does prove that they will ship 360's to online bundle buyers before they ship them to people who reserved them months ago at B&M outlets.

More fuel for the GS haters.

Wouldn't this be considered illegal? If the company has them in stock don't they have to go to the people who have already put money down for them? Or is it only if they have paid in full?
i wonder if anyone bought the package with the plasma tv from gamestop? and me wonders if they are enjoying their burn in to boot :p
Burn in? That's one of the biggest myths out there about plasma TVs. Sure it could happen but it's just as likely to happen to your regular TV too...
