No, not cause of your thread... I had thought all along Wii was last monday, PS3 last thursday and Xbox tuesday.... and it ended up being weds... bummer.

Eh, I might get Stickball depending on how it looks and plays. I do like the description though:

In MLB® Stickball, gamers can buy and collect packs of Topps “Big Head” Major League Baseball cards. Each time a pack is opened, those players are unlocked and added to each Major League team to play!

Part of the fun of stickball is the custom rules for each city, just like the rules kids create when they play in their own neighborhoods! MLB® Stickball can be played on the streets of a number of big cities, including New York, San Francisco and Boston. In addition to scoring runs in the stickball game itself, there will be objects scattered throughout each environment that serve as targets or hazards for the batter. Smack the ball off the fire hydrant and get it to spray water into the street and your team will be richly rewarded; break a window, though, and you’re out!
 
Hope something else than Stickball gets released tomorrow, other wise this is going to be pretty lame.

Also, did they ever fix the PES demo? Last time I tried to download it, it really fucked up my system before I deleted it.
 
I want Mega Man 9 sooo bad, lol. My god damn points issue with Microsoft, I don't know if I'm going to get Castle Crashers, Braid or Mega Man 9 GARRRRH!!! Lol.

Still thoroughly enjoying Galaga Legions & Geometry Wars II though :)

Some game called the Art of Booty is coming out according to Gamespot either this week or next. Regardless, it looks like trash...but just saying.

The War World demo was like 3 minutes long =(

I'll have to check out the Beat'n Groovy demo, but I still need Trigger Heart, Rez, Mega Man 9, and Castle Crashers before I get anything else. Just downloaded Ikaruga and 1942 last night, first time I've ever paid for XBLA games! Kinda regret 1942 but oh well, its not that bad.
 
Don't know if anyone has noticed this yet but in the game add-on section, there are two Community games listed: Netters and Net Rumble. 100 points each. I've got the trials downloaded but I haven't checked them out yet.

the real thing is $100 a year (it lets you develop games on XNA). The actual community games thing is being released for free (though the games will cost points) when NXE is launched for people who are not signed up as a developer
 
I downloaded the launcher! When I opened that up (in order to play a trial game) it said my gamertag didn't have a membership and kicked me out :(
 
That's old Lilboo...that was from e3, I'm surprised its still available to download...it was a trial thing, they had it up for a month or two IIRC, they had a few downloadable games to try.

I went and found the XNA game launcher to download, and I did.

What is old? I'm really confused. I remember when they put the XNA game launcher and all those trial games, but they just released 2 XNA games (FULL games). Again, they are 100 points each for the full version.

After buying and playing Beat'n Groovy a bit, I've come to the conclusion that this game is going to nickel and dime you with expansions and other DLC.
 
There's some Bringing TGS Home stuff up, mostly trailers but there is a free Last Remnant and Star Ocean themes if you're into that sort of thing.
 
When I first loaded up stickball i was thinking it was gonna be a little kids version of the downtown homerun derby thing in The Bigs where you get points for breaking stuff. Then I played it.....OMG what a piece of garbage.

Thanks for that, it makes it much easier to find what is free. It would be nice for the first post of these Xbox Live topics to have a free section and just list all the free stuff so you do not need to search around through the list.

Just curious, is there a site that lists all the free Xbox Live stuff to make sure nothing is missed?
 
Yeah, forgot to put the Saw V ones, I'll edit.

Though for Owen...I don't see how hard it is to go to the first post and look for the "Free". They are separated already by sections, so it shouldn't be too hard to find the free pics/themes, since you will see the red font.

All the videos and demos are free unless otherwise noted (some Tip videos for instant are normally 80 points or more).
