They should be the same price, just a holiday bundle...when they were up on the Best Buy page, they had an arrival date of 10/29...

I would go ELITE. The extra HDD is nice and apparently there are some issues if you still have to use Optical (audio) and HDMI (video) at the same time....at least from what I read.

Or just wait as Linkin said.....2 free games is a nice bonus.

THQ ANNOUNCES PLAYABLE DEMO AVAILABILITY AND PRE-ORDER RETAIL INCENTIVES FOR WWE® SMACKDOWN® VS. RAW® 2008

WHAT: Beginning today, consumers who pre-order WWE® SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2008 at select retailers throughout North America will receive a copy of the official game demo. By pre-ordering the game, consumers can also take advantage of retail exclusive gift-with-purchase promotions. The game demo will also be available via Xbox Live® Marketplace for the Xbox 360(tm) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft beginning October 15.

THE DEMO: The WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 playable demo for Xbox Live Marketplace will allow players to experience exhibition match play using the RAW, SmackDown and ECW arenas. Superstars Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, Undertaker and Randy Orton are available for battle in either single player or two-player, head-to-head gameplay. Throughout the demo, players can sample several of the game's new features, including Superstar Fighting Styles and the Struggle Submission System.

THE GAME: WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3, PlayStation 2 and PSP system will let players take the fight into their own hands with the debut of eight Superstar Fighting Styles. Thrillville is pretty interesting, I remember always seeing a bunch of ads for the game on the PS2. I wouldn't pay for it, though.

Ah well. I don't mind losing this week, especially given their source's track record. Not like I'd be losing two huge games.

Back to being relevant, here's hoping Tetris Splash is actually a good version of the game; it's amazing how different groups have managed to screw up something so simple in the past.
 
Just checked out the Thrillville demo. I played it on PS2 and the only things that bothered me were the framerate and that some of the mini-games were pretty lame. Seems like this one is going to be similar, but I think I'd pick it up for the Elastomania clone, Stunt Rider, alone. The tank mini-game is pretty good too. (You have to buy/build it.) I just hope they include more levels for those games than what was included in the demo. The whole theme park management sim doesn't appeal to me, but I love me some mini-games.

Ooh, Carcassonne DLC. I don't know what "Baron" is though. There's a King & Scout expansion, but I guess since Scout adds to Hunters & Gatherers which isn't on XBLA they had to swap it for something else.
 
That Tetris DLC is BS! I liked the game a lot, and I had no problem with 800 points for it. However, 50 points for fish to float around? GTFO.
10-20 points. MAYBE. But they shouldn't even be selling FISH to float around.

Ugh.

I got Tetris and dled all the fish packs. It's total bullshit that you have to pay 50 apiece for em, but all my points were free so yeah.

What's really terrible is that there are slots for a shit ton more fish that if they still charge 50 apiece for would cost way too much.

And right now I have no idea how to change the fish colors even though the bundles say they come with 3-5 different colors. So if somebody could help me out with that I'd appreciate it, I hope I'm not just retarded.

Thrillville demo was decent. Hopefully it's a little deeper than the demo lets on (which I assume it will be), but building my own coaster was pretty fun.

I may have to give it another shot. Aside from the "ghost bullets", it just didn't impress me. I thought it seemed like your basic FPS with a Clive Barker theme. I did enjoy having three different characters that actually played differently though.
